the last great football game?

The two Liverpool/Newcastle 4-3's were cracking games....I just so happened to be at the second one, scouse mate had a ticket going spare so I went for the crack - didnt realise I'd be seeing an epic!

04/05 CL Chelsea Vs. Barca.... Barca were 2-1 up first leg, Chelsea won the game finally 4-2 going through 5-4 agg.

94/95 Championship play-off final Bolton Vs Reading.
Reading went 1-0 up after four minutes, Nogan with the goal. Williams made it 2-0 with in 12 minutes. Lovell missed a penalty for Reading on 34 minutes, and that was the turning point. Bolton scored a 75th minute goal to give them hope and with four minutes to go, De Freitas scored the leveler for Wanderers. Bolton went 3-2 up in extra time, Paatelainen scored on 105 minutes, De Freitas scored Wanderers' 4th goal on 118, while Reading player-manager Quinn scored a late goal.

Many city games but they've probably been listed.

I remember being mesmerised by Italy v Brazil in the world cup in '82.

I recall at one point the commentator asking Bobby Charlton (a person I detest, but that's another story) his thoughts on the game, and he was speechless, literally.

The World Cup final in 1970 springs to mind as well, but I will stick with Italy v Brazil in '82.

Brazil V Italy 1982
England V Germany - Italia 90 semi
England V Holland - euro 96

Last night's encounter between Chelsea & Inter as it happens, such a beautiful game, one for the purists.

Italy vs Germany WC06 is also a great suggestion.
