They've got money to spend, but have blown it on average, mediocre players, apart from Suarez, and Enrique. I don't know who's behind the transfer policy there, is it Dalglish? Is it Comolli? Both of them, or someone else? Whoever it is, it doesn't seem to be working, and they could be looking back at a wasted opportunity.
It's what we done 2 years ago Liverpool be up there if not this year defo next
No.

We had a crap squad, and replaced them with above average players.

They had a good squad, and replaced them with average players.

We made a stride forward, they have taken several strides backwards.

Look how much Rafa spent as well!

They need Littlewoods Pools to make a comeback bless 'em

I think its not the same dw7 matey. We have spent yes, our buys have improved us though and we have not payed over the odds to much (Kolarov was not cheap for a defender). Liverpool got new owners and acted like kids in a candy shop after they found a fiver.
Suarez and Enrique seem the only two decent buys they made for the cash spent on said players. Henderson, Downing, Carroll have been as anonymous as its possible to get. Saying that i feel Kenny's tactics are neanderthalic and he is out of touch, 4-4-2 just does not work with the players they have. They also seem incapable of adapting the formation as a game dictates.

They should have given Woy the whole season imo then sack or kept him.

Edit: I only got to page 4 of the after match thread they have befor motd started. Now i have 16 pages of some quality meltdown to read (yes im a sad fucker).

What about the overpriced players we bought that can't sell or sold for a fraction of the price

Err well for a start we were mid table with a squad with not much top quality or recent success that makes teams more attractive. Dippers only needed say 3-4 shrewd smart signings so its not comparible is it. We needed to pay those fee's to help us get where we are today, a sacrifice if you will otherwise we would still be 5th or 6th trying to get top players to join us.

This Liverpool side reminds me very much of City under Hughes. Firstly, the majority of signings have been ones with very large (too large at times) fees being paid for players with a fair amount of premier league experience (Albeit younger players). Secondly, whilst there team actually has a lot of quality and depth all over the pitch, but for some reason they're incredibly inconsistent. Finally, they have two or three top class players who would fit in any team but unfortunately they are players Liverpool have developed an over-reliance; if they're not playing, Liverpool don't do quite as well.

They'll be fine this season, making the top 6 with ease. But they'd need to be winning more against the weaker sides at home if they want to make the top 4.

All at Anfield....
Sunderland: 1-1
Manu: 1-1
Norwich: 1-1
Swans: 0-0
____________

Disgusting draw rate against weak opposition. Proves that the signings of Carroll, Hendo and Charlie as over-hyped, under-researched and well...plain shite.

We will relish playing at Anfield then?

Another 10 pages added for this mornings read.

I'm so confused, it's not turning out like the red dippers said it would. They said the team with 'istory and a team mentality - which can only be built by unpaid managers like King Kenny rather than mercenary Mancini, would be better than us this season.

Their starting a petition they need 100,000 signatures to have a debate in the house of commons

Justice for the 40,000

Being lied to by the fa and premier league since 91. Being told this year is their year but never happens
