Re: Kenny Dalglish - credibility crumbles

A dour, dull, uninspiring excuse ridden manager who has no place managing a top 4 team in the prem. Liverpool will be forever in a battle for 6th with him in charge whilst their supporters will lap up every ounce of his bullshit. I really, really despise him as a manager although it might not all be his fault; it's the fault of his merry men around the world that idolise him for doing nothing (this time around as manager, not as a player)

Re: Kenny Dalglish - credibility crumbles

Does your overall appearence have any bearing on your mental state ?

If thats the case he is heading for a breakdown. Every time i see him he is looking more and more dishevelled by the day !

He needs to be careful

Re: Kenny Dalglish - credibility crumbles

Kenny Dalglish isn’t a very good manager. He’s never been a very good manager. When he started as manager of Liverpool he had the best side in England, most likely the best side in Europe (can’t be measured as, due to Liverpool, the English sides were banned). He didn’t build that side, he didn’t sign those players, or get them playing at that level, he inherited the side. He won trophies with them and then, when he saw that a rebuild was required, he quit instead of taking on the task. He then went to Blackburn, where he had more money to spend than anyone else, he bought the best players he could, and won again. Then, when the money dried up, he quit. His time at Newcastle and Celtic was undoubtedly a failure. He quit both, and then sat in football management exile for a decade or so.

His management style isn’t one where he concentrates on tactics, it’s a watered down Ferguson style, the “us versus them” method, but without Ferguson’s ability to actually master the art. I hate Alex Ferguson, intensely; however he’s a top class manager, which is without doubt. King Kenny is not. His purchases have been overpriced in the main, and his insistence on “buying English” smacks of a man trying to build what he inherited at Liverpool, and bought at Blackburn, a British squad fighting for one another. His ideas are 20 years out of date, you need to trawl the World for your talent these days, and fight isn’t enough to win anything. The scousers will never turn on “the King”, which for the rest of us is great, as he’ll never be good enough for the job they want him to do.

Re: Kenny Dalglish - credibility crumbles

Cannot do with him he was like a grim reaper waiting for Roy Hodgson to fail so he could jump in.
As for him being a good manager he took over one of the best teams in the 1980s hardly built a great team did he most of it was already in place.Look what happened in 1991 when all of it started falling apart ? He did a runner.

He then went a bought the title at Blackburn when it was a hell of lot easier to do back then

He failed at Newcastle he failed at Celtic i just hope he fails BIG TIME and the myth of him being a great manager is laid to rest.In fact i would say Roy Evans did a better job at the club considering the mess he was left by Souness.

Re: Kenny Dalglish - credibility crumbles

He has come across very bitter and twisted since he returned to the game

Agree with every word of that. Souness was roundly blamed for Liverpool's demise when he took over from Dalglish but it was Dalglish's failure to rebuild that started the slide.

Re: Kenny Dalglish - credibility crumbles

Managers have complained in the past, but to invite the journos and show them a video of Suarez getting fouled is sign of a paranoid man. And best thing is the blind faith liverpool fans have in him saying he put these journos away. They are the most paranoid fans ever

Top post that. I honestly hope (even more so than usual) that we absolutley turn them over in all 3 of the upcoming games. Their players are even more odious than some of the rags (Adam, Carroll and Suarez to name but a few....).

The sooner he goes the better, although it might actually mean Liverpool start to prove their worth....

top post mate i put this to a liverpool fan befor and he said "the king" did rebuild he signed barnes and mcmahon and a few others

Tbh what the fukc does it matter that he's getting fouled. I'll bet Yakubu or Pilkington or any number of PL strikers (all of them in fact) could put together a video of them being fouled. Most of them, however, don't fall over like a sack of shite screaming their heads off for most of the game.

All strikers dive, its a fact of life, but this twat takes the piss. It will backfire on him bigtime, when a few ref's see the replays on MotD or elsewhere and realise they've been done over he won't be able to buy a foul against him because every ref will assume he is diving every time he goes down (and they wouldn't be far wrong).

Dalglish is unbelievable

Just heard Dalglish say that apart from Tottenham away they should have taken 3 points from every game they have played this season.
That sort of attitude bodes well for us before playing them in the 3 games in January. He obviously is happy with the dippers league form, and they are 12 points behind us and played a game more.

Re: Dalglish is unbelievable

The guy is a full on bellend, so deluded it's untrue.

Someone was talking the other day about Scottish managers, it's incredible how similarly natured Baconface, Dogleash and Gollum are.

Wankers the lot of them.

They needed help to score against us to draw let alone win. Beat Chelsea at there lowest point for me.

Gollum is a tactical genius. He replaced Saha for Distin when the score was 0-0 today.

West Brom away is probably the only game they have dominated for the vast majority of the game so far this season.

He sounds like a manager who will be under the gun if the club fail to finish in the top four this season.

Re: Dalglish is unbelievable

We'll see at the end of the season just how good they are. Can't stand Dalgleish, side on he looks like Punch out of Punch & Judy.
