The Media Against Pep?

That makes sense,i hadn't read or heard in the media that he did it straight away, talkshite still going with the cracking up line this morning at 10am

Yep it was done immediately afterwards, but as I mentioned above Talksport are leading with the "he disrespected one of their colleagues" story and that he is losing it etc....

The apology which he did, is not want they want the public to hear. They want to dramatize it to its full extent.

Another piece I read yesterday was from another journalist who actually called out the press/pundits making a meal of this story. he went on to say that it goes on every week. He says that the journalists will meet up with others for a drink and discuss who got a bollocking from a manager that week. He then says that he was once punched to the back of the head by a manager after a game, but did not report it because the manager apologised via phone 2 days later. The actions of the manager were down to his frustration at the time due to results and the player the journalist was talking to, was stalling on a contract. He says the manager thought he was asking the player about a move elsewhere to which the manager in question just saw red and actually punched him and had to be ushered away by his team before it escalated

We should hire Pierluigi Collina to watch our games in full and make calls compared to what actually happened and then publish the statistical error rate.
Then do the same for the Rags.

How many Yellow cards are correct calls, how many fouls went unpunished Ext.

That's a good idea, and a City media watch, run, owned and fully promoted by the club

A very public statement by the club that they recognise the existence of an agenda would be start, if only in the media, that would put the cat among the pigeons.

We'd get an enormous amount of flack, but we're getting it already. If we mustered our case well and could get a few big guns on our side, it would at least propel the debate from the terraces and places like this and into the mainstream.

See Simon Stone (bbc) regurgitating the sh1t in the lead up to the imminent presser. Hoping pep's wingman deflates the whole lot of them with : " we will only be taking questions re the west ham game".

From the Spanish press with no translation.
