That makes sense,i hadn't read or heard in the media that he did it straight away,talkshite still going with the cracking up line this morning at 10am
Yep it was done immediately afterwards, but as I mentioned above Talksport are leading with the "he disrespected one of their colleagues" story and that he is losing it etc....
The apology which he did, is not want they want the public to hear. They want to dramatize it to its full extent.
Another piece I read yesterday was from another journalist who actually called out the press/pundits making a meal of this story. he went on to say that it goes on every week. He says that the journalists will meet up with others for a drink and discuss who got a bollocking from a manager that week. He then says that he was once punched to the back of the head by a manager after a game, but did not report it because the manager apologised via phone 2 days later. The actions of the manager were down to his frustration at the time due to results and the player the journalist was talking to, was stalling on a contract. He says the manager thought he was asking the player about a move elsewhere to which the manager in question just saw red and actually punched him and had to be ushered away by his team before it escalated
