The Mirror

I have not bought a paper for years now but when I go to see my mother on a Sunday she always has The Fail, The Mirror & The Star. These three papers all have a clear pro Rag/anti City theme running throughout their sports pages, as I believe their 'sports journalist's' cater for the hordes of armchair rags who have bought their paper over the last twenty years whilst they have become successful. During that time, up until about 18 months to 2 years ago City had always been a mediocre to sh*t team/comedy club, to a sh*t to mediocre team with a load of money but would still f*ck it up anyway type of club. Ever since we beat the scum in the semi final & went on to win (cos typical City would see us lose in the final anyway) they suddenly realised Mancini might be the man to take us to the next level, (even though they had been reassuring their rag hordes that he was not) and with the plans to our academy announced maybe the good Sheikh would not get bored after all (even though they had been reassurring their rag hordes he would) and it was then their 'reporting' turned to utter desperation & bile.

Just remember the last day of last season when pretty much the whole of the football community apart from 'nited fans' celebrated with us, certain media outlets like these conveniently forgot to mention the utter capitulation of 'their' team, whilst begrudgly offering congratulations to us and at the same time letting their readers know at every turn how much money it had cost to achieve this. Newspapers like these realise that we now demand far more column inches than we ever did before and are trashing us in any way they can to appease the rag plastics who are probably the amongst the last people to stop buying papers, probably based on the w*nkfests over the rags winning during previous years.

Let them do what they want because it is changing f*ck all really and the only thing it is doing is increasing our exposure to the point where we are turning over real big money (almost a quarter of a billion pounds) and they are sh*tting it even more now.

Believe me, after supporting City for 35 years is it far better to be talked about than not talked about or as some kind of piss take club.

Forgive them for they are ar*eholes and know not what they do.

The two stories are written by two different journalist. The Aguero one I'm not sure about but the Balotelli story was written by a good mate of mine, Simon Mullock who is a big blue and has told me it is definitely true( Ive known him most of my life and I believe him). If you read Simons articles on City you will see he is very pro City and even got into trouble for his report on the last game of last season for his " over the top" digs at United and bias reporting on us. He turned down the chance to get paid for reporting on the FA Cup Final in 2011 so he could sit with us at Wembley to watch the game and cheer us on instead of sitting in the press box where they have to appear to be neutral and aren't allowed to cheer for obvious reasons. Believe me he wouldn't have wrote the story on Balotelli if it wasn't true!

Thanks for that, Simon.

I love the stories in the fail me....published by "Sportsmail reporter" WTF..

Don't believe the hype....The Mirror is a rag paper we have known that for years.

I can believe the Balotelli story myself, the article lists a time and location for the hearing so it sounds like reasonable information.

The Aguero out/Villa in article is just disgusting though, anyone with an IQ of over 50 can see it's the usual destabilisation attempt by one of the Mirror's Fergie sycophant journos.

I wouldn't wipe my arse with the Mirror.A garbage newspaper.
true
i haven't bought any papers for over 2 year now i dont miss any (apart from fa cup win and championship just to keep)

Mario story = bollocks. Tacky witch-hunt material. If it really was a blue who wrote it, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Should we doubt the Sergio story?

Sorry chaps but I've been hearing rumours about this for at least two months. If he doesn't go during January (as a piece of the Falcao jigsaw), I reckon Sergio will go as part of a big clear-out over the summer.

Don't be surprised if Messi joins the revolution next season...

Unlike many other players Sergio strikes me as someone who is generally happy with his lot in life and someone who realises that he is genuinely lucky to earn untold riches to kick a ball about. We've been hearing stories about how unsettled he is since he moved here: the weather/desperate to join Real/wife hates the area. There is nothing about his disposition to suggest he is anything but happy here, enjoying a different culture in the most exciting league in the world.

I doubt he'll spend his entire career here, but he'll be here for another couple of seasons after this one imo.

Yeah, Mullock managed to blag 11 tickets from City for him and his family for the cup final from the club, left a nasty taste that one!

As you say, he is a big blue and the story will have been briefed for a good reason.

The Aguero story was written by that red **** Steve Bates, son in law of David Meek, bosom buddy and lapdog of slur Alex.

He got into trouble this year for writing a story Garry Cook was being investigated for misuse of expenses and club cars.

He'll be getting another call this week I suspect.

The only thing the mirror should be writing is that they witnessed the best team in the land play some great football and beat Newcastle away, by three goals to one. After the second half of the Derby everyone in the world new who the best team in England was and they were not from trafford. We needed a wake up call, now watch us go.

Well the Balotelli story is certainly true. Its on everywhere this morning. The t*** is taking City to a tribunal he got fined 2 weeks wages for his poor disciplinary record.

Wrong on both accounts.

And if you're hearing voiced I'd see a doctor pal.
