I actually like Chris Evans which puts me in the minority I guess, the first one was poor but last week and this I enjoyed. With a bit of tweaking the next series could be excellent.

I rate Evans as poor in this. MLB is fine though and the guy they had doing the Focus piece was good too.

Not seen Ep2 yet but tonight was definitely better than Ep1.

Watched the first episode – sorry, that was enough for me!
I actually don't mind Chris Evans, but there are two fundamental flaws for me.
Firstly, they're using the same format that Clarkson, Hammond and May made their own – and it just doesn't work, it just comes across as them trying to copy the format... Badly!!!
Secondly, Evan's TV shows all follow the same format, so given time he will ultimately change Top Gear into TFI Friday - with cars!
Other telling thing is that my son used to absolutely love watching Top Gear with me on a Sunday night - used to laugh his head off... he watched episode 1 and said he doesn't want to watch again!
