The next attack on City?

It's bonkers. Not sure it's aimed at us thou as Falcao would not have been able to be signed under these rules as there is no mention of loan deals. Or will the player just have to be worth more than £15m? example; loans, players on free transfers/last year of contract? in that case it all becomes subjective about value.

The FA should be more concerned about appointing an England manager who isn't completely inept rather than this batshit crazy stuff that will cure all Englands ills.

How about sorting grass routes football out, G4 pitches available all over, coaches available to teach kids skills, and not rush football.
regional excellence centres to ensure top talent are getting the best chance.

Oh forgot we blew all the cash on a stadium we cant fill in London, that no one except the cockneys can get too without spending a small fortune.

We could do all of that....or just blame the foreigners. But not them from the EU because we can't exclude them...just the other ones.

This dyke can't even fkn talk properly, can any of you guys understand the c--t, because he talks in riddles .

Do we not just buy any young non EU player and loan them to someone like say Lisbon who we have a partnership with wait a couple of years get him a portugeuse passport hey presto come play for city

Another damn silly rule. Why do they keep adding pointless rules? If kids from the UK and EU are good enough, they will be signed. What's more, if they're good enough, they'll get in the first team. No one, but no one, has a prejudice against players from the EU.

The point is, there isn't a sufficient supply of young players who are good enough. That's why clubs go to the enormous trouble and expense of scouting for kids across the world.

If the FA hadn't wasted so much money on that useless white elephant Wembley, there would be more money to provide adequate coaches for the young lads growing up here, and maybe, just maybe, the supply of talent would improve. But it's so typical of this country, wasting billions on prestige projects (mostly within 25 miles of Westminster) while allowing essential services to rot away. And then wondering why everything is turning to shit.

I'm so sick of them using the English national team to drum up support for these stupid ideas. Stopping non EU players from joining the Premier League isn't going to suddenly make every English player the next Messi, the problem goes deeper than that to how kids are coached. But hey never mind that it's obviously Johnny foreigner's fault that English players can't pass the ball.

One thing is for certain though if they ever did force PL clubs to use mostly English players and the standard of the league fell off a cliff and the sponsers started taking their money elsewhere they'd soon change their tone.

This sort of proposal, even if applied throughout UEFA will have no real effect on the Spanish or Italian clubs as South Americans can usually Spanish, Portuguese or Italian passports if they try hard enough. Similarly many from Africa can contrive to get an EU passport from somewhere if they are any good. This would work against English teams in UEFA club competitions.

Restriction would raise the costs for all Premier League clubs and would hit the likes of Hull far harder than it would City or Chelsea.

You have to love the FA's insistence that the reason that english players aren't good enough is because they can't get a game in the premier league, it couldn't possibly be the other way around...
