I find it mildly interesting that 2 of the 3 seasons happened after Euro Championship/Copa summersThat’s not what you said, you said we don’t find our groove until late December when we found our groove immediately in:
2016-17
2017-18
2018-19
2021-22
2022-23
2023-24
It was only as we got into the season after a few months in all of them that we dipped a bit (apart from 2017-18 where our worst run wasn’t until April).
We’ve almost always started like a house on fire under Pep. There have been a few seasons where we’ve played well all season.
There was only 2019-20 where we started poorly and never caught up and 2020-21 where we started terribly and then did find our groove in December that we haven’t started in a good groove.
dammit busted
Because too many people don’t understand what a forum is.Why can’t people let people openly discuss things that are reasonable talking points that aren’t quite skipping through the tulips, holding hands and throwing flower petals in the air while singing ‘ladidadida’ on a forum without being branded ‘miserable bastards’?
All I have to do to feel good about our situation is:
1) watch that Villa game this afternoon
2) look at the league table 7 games in and reflect on those 9 points :D
Oh happy days. Life is nowhere near as dire as people on here would have you think!!!
Ffs you should be high fiving fivercider not correcting him, get with the thread ;-)That’s a myth.
2020-21 was the only season we went on a good run from December onwards.
We usually start well and end well.
Only 2019-20 and 2020-21 where that didn’t happen under Pep.
How was your holiday? What are the rules then Mr Exhilarating?
