I love Eurovision and the UK has lost the knack of finding a song and artist that embodies the show.

We seem to miss the mood. In a cheesy year we go for ballads and vice versa.

I think we go for Simon Cowell formulaic, limited, yet focused market appeal guaranteed purchase cookie cutter songs. It doesn't really work on a wider than UK scale. (Boris you numpty tramp, take notice!)

If we took the chances on welcoming innovative experimentation, we would be back in with a great shout. Not sure if the system allows for it any more.

You'd be surprised at how infectious this dude is.
Played it at a wedding as an emergency floor filler. Pretty much everyone (100+) got up, danced non-stop - through the whole bloody album!
So it was played again. All the way through. People finally had a break due to exhaustion/evening buffet arriving.
Mad (but incredibly enjoyable) night.

Italy had a cool rock band we had some guy who looks like we grabbed him off the street outside a Greggs.

Netherlands had 1980s Eddie Murphy. And a Bez.
Felt they got a rough deal.

Just my opinion but not being in the semi finals doesn't help.
My daughter is autistic and loves it, for her enjoyment we have to do both semi's and that's where we make our picks.
Neither of us chose any of the super 6 who they only show clips but you go on the website to watch it in full.
The press bigged up the Italian and French song's but we never rated them as they didn't do it live.
Of the 6 they finished 1,2 and the bottom 4 so my theory doesn't stand up but the press were all over the top 2 all week but not a lot about the other 4.
We knew the UK was pretty poor but he was okay.
Harmless entertainment and we enjoyed it, getting to feel it wouldn't be the same without a shit UK song.

As to Switzerland's effort- Dire on every level yet it won the judges vote.
Cyprus and Greece, Scandinavian countries, Former Yolugoslavian countries. A complete joke.
