The lack of wickets is starting to frustrate me. They're gonna end up with a 150 lead at this rate!
Well, they're 118 ahead now. If tea is later today (4:10?), they'll be near 200 ahead. I don't think they'll declare then and leave England with a long last session (too risky). Probably look for a lead of around 230-250, then declare. Leave England with around 1.5 hours to face. Can't see anything other than a draw.

Just noticed my typo - i meant 250 lead!

I agree, this morning we were in the best position and it was our game to lose, and in true england fashion were are successfully pushing the game to a draw lol

What worries me is they'll be taking the new ball soon without giving Jimmy a fair chance to see if the old ball is swinging. The new ball wont swing for at least 30 overs and by then the games over, cos aussies will have a 250-300 lead at this rate.

I'm sure that there is a perfectly obvious explanation as to why the best bowler in the team, and the only one to get movement from a lifeless pitch, has not actually bowled for 2 hours.
Would someone kindly let me know?

Can only guess with back to back tests (and his underlying injuries) they are assuming this test will fizzle out to a draw and decided it is best to save Flintoff for next time.
