Denis Suarez named Young Player of the Year at the awards. Well done to a very talented young footballer.

I guess it was voted for by people who haven't watched the academy this year and thus haven't noticed that Rekik was by far and away the best talent in there?

tis the only explanation.

Voted by the people. In reality Suarez and Rekik both haven't played nearly enough this season due to the EDS/NextGen debacle! Albert Rusnak probably did more overall, pulling the strings so much for the under 18s, but doesn't have a high profile yet compared to Suarez and Rekik.

Surely hiwula should of won it just under 30 goals in total including eds,u18s and next gen
This. Picking Suarez was a cock up.

Just as much as Joleon not being in the POTY short list - Mr Consistent/Reliable all season

Ghana Under-20 striker Nasiru Mohammed has joined English giants Manchester City on a three-week trial stint, MTNFootball can exclusively reveal.

The 18-year-old arrived at the Etihad Stadium training complex last week and has already begun training with City's U18 side.

The 2009 Ghana Under-17 captain is hoping to impress on trial and secure a permanent deal with the big spenders.

Mohammed will rejoin his Black Satellites team-mates in mid May for an invitational tournament in South Africa before returning to City to continue his trial.

If signed, he will become the fourth Ghanaian youngster to join City after Thomas Frimpong, Frank Osei Kwame and Thomas Agyiri were signed from the Right to Dream Academy.

Is there any sort of list/database anywhere of our EDS/U18s/17/16s anywhere?

I am completely starting to lose track of all the people we have signed/taken on in the last year or 2.

Denis Suarez winning the young player of the year is like Kyle Walker winning the PFA player of the year.

Should have been Jordi Hiwula without a shadow of a doubt, it's not even close.
