Is it another coincidence that Ibrahim, while on loan,is now getting plenty of attention from our rivals?

I think most of the kids we sign have the fundamental talent to be high level players, our developmental system and poor choices of loans (look at what an actual good loan can do for a player - Guidetti/Feyenoord... just so rare) tend to ruin/hurt their potential. Boyata had an incredible amount of potential, it's amazing he has deteriorated to what he has become.
Players with the natural ability of Suarez and co., do you think they'd be failing at Ajax? They'd probably have 30+ first team appearances now and be on talkSPORT's "Here's what you need to know about Man United/City target Denis Suarez" features.
If we loan someone to Feyenoord next season let's hope it's someone better than Elabdellaoui because that is a great place for someone to develop if they can get in the team. Maybe Razak?

You say Razak is reasonably close (even if that is 3 injuries away) but is he really good enough? Is he a top 4 premiership player as I don't think he is.
I do agree the right loan deal is essential and there are a few that need it desperately.Suarez would be high on that list as otherwise he has to leave. He looks totally out of sorts and frustrated at the moment.

Could the injury he sustained against Wolves also have effected him?

I honestly thought he'd be playin the odd first team game this season... i presume he did too. I'm guessin that's why there was no loan in place? Shame... a season in the Dutch league would've been crackin for him.LoveCity said:Youthful petulance and frustration seem to have set in with Suarez. Is it a surprise, whether he's in poor form or not, because he is past the U21 league level and should have been out on loan by now. He'll look at his mate Suso who has managed 18 appearances for Liverpool this season and wonder "Why am I not playing somewhere?". If not City then somewhere... we can find clubs for some really mediocre youth prospects (even Elabdellaoui got a move to Feyenoord - he failed there but he got the chance at least) so there will be one out there for Suarez be it in Germany, Spain, Portugal, or Holland.

ofcourse he hasnt lost those qualities. he hasnt been given a chance at all, not one bit of game time really in the team. How is a player meant to develop when they arent given a chance.
He is clearly good enough, but we wont really know that until he is given a proper chance. If he was at any other club he would have played a load of games.
IM starting to feel like we are gonna become like chelsea, who have loads of talent youth wise but never play them.
