Hughes is the manager to take us to where we want to go - respect to the man for putting up with some of the club's sh#tter following

Great results this last week and credit where it is due to all, including Hughes, lets keep it up and play like we know we can!

One thing though, where were the inners before Arsenal and Chelsea, i see a couple of results have seen you show your faces?

20 posts and then slagging people off who have been here years. Quality.

Two decent performances on the bounce and most importantly for me, a decent *managerial* performance yesterday, getting the strategy right and making some sensible and (thank god, for once) *timely* substitutions.

So well done MH. Keep it up and I might even change my mind about you.

I dont know if D set this up on purpose, but it seems unusual that we're allowed to change out vote- and that's what makes this thread pretty cool. It's obviously a dynamic thing, what this forum makes of Hughes, and here we have an effective 'swingometer'.

Now then, as an extension to this, is there any format to show usernames behind each vote? I should imagine it'll be a bloody long list at 1,000 votes cast, but it'd be interesting to see. There was an allegation earlier in the thread that we might have had some visiting reds mucking in on the 'out' vote, perhaps we could test that theory. You could use it as a resource, too, when reading a user's post, and see where they are on this issue. I'm pretty sure I've seen this done on other message boards so presumbaly the software exists?

Oh, and-

Lets face it, Mark Hughes could finish in the top 4 get us into europe, win the Carlng and FA cups and to some on here it still wouldnt be enough. And there are some who are so bitter and hateful of his past that they would want city to fall just to see the back of Mark Huges(sic)

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.......................nice one mate, very original too, ha ha ha

hope this is the start of run of wins that takes us to the top 6, i still think a tops 6 spot is were we will Finnish,so mh as done is job

Totally wrong and it's posts like this that helps you makes prats of yourselves. FACT: we all support City.
True City supporters would never want us to lose just to get rid of Mark Hughes.
His past is in the mix but Cole? Schmichael? Tevez? this shows we can get over ex rags.
If he pulls it round and we win the Carling Cup, get 4th place etc I will eat large slabs of humble pie.
We are devided but I personally don't think Mark Hughes is up to the job, my opinion, I'm a true blue.
2 Brilliant results against Arsenal and Chelsea and lets all enjoy this week, but the jury is still out.

I was on the fence before the last two matches. After last night's result and performance I am over my blue moon.....although I am still on the fence because I need to see MH be able to get our team to pick up points against sides with 10 men behind the ball. We'll be facing a lot of them I suspect this season so he needs to get around this problem before I can definitively say MH IN.

I look forward to the day soon tho now, things look even more on the up for the club in general!!
