Re: didnt expect any favours

WBA.

3 unbeaten, Scoring, etc.

United away to Athletico Thursday.

You never know.

Wait a minute!

City away to Sporting, then off to Swansea.

If it's still two points difference on Sunday night then I will be happy.

Re: didnt expect any favours

I said it a few months ago and will say it again now, unfortunately we are not as streetwise as the rags and hence the reason they are even near us. They cheat, dive and claim for everything which turns tight away games into three points whereas we just glide through them. This is why I think we'll miss out this year and I'm sorry to have to say it.

Hope over the next few weeks I'm proved wrong, I really really do.

Its amazing how Spurs dominated that game

Similar to us at Sunderland and WBA !
That's what I thought, but we just didn't have the finishing touch on those occasions. This is where credit is due to United as they take the chances when the chips are down.
Although I agree that we dont take chances when we need to, look at the amount we had yesterday, many of their 'chances' are via dives, Ashley Young puts Tom Daley to shame

Re: didnt expect any favours

Came to realize a couple of weeks ago NO-ONE is going to do us any favours
Other teams
Official's
The FA

It's totally in our own hands and i firmly believe we have the squad and manager to take us to the title
A lot of blues on here seen to be getting worked up and nervous
Just chill out,sit back and enjoy the ride!!

Yet he also scored a corker. Bottom line is they take the chances provided, and that is what wins leagues. It's just a good job we have the personnel we have to hopefully push us over the line. United have relied on these grinded out wins for years, but they've never had us to contend with.

-- Sun Mar 04, 2012 7:36 pm --

I would love to win the league fair and square this year, against a team like United who have had numerous contentious wins.

Re: didnt expect any favours

I'm just bored of it. Same old same old. At least no-one will be able to say if we win it that we got there mostly on shite football and a fuck load of luck.
