Up until today they have been seen to do the right thing. City was a club that shared my own values and the Arabs gave me something i could believe in.

They have now been proven to lie and their integrity has evaporated, this is no longer a club i feel i can support, they've gone about this in completely the wrong way.

hughes lost the support of the board when he went to abu dhabi, he was supposed to meet khaldoon after the game and he didnt bother to show up. khaldoon had all his entourage there , took it as a personal snub and that was that

mancini is bringing in an italian left back and an italian centre half

also mancini has a 3.5 year deal but if he doesnt get top 4 he will be out in may and they will go for mourinho

Our owners inherited a manager and backed him in everything he wanted to do. I believe they've reached the correct conclusion and showed patience.
Plus, if anyone invests five hundred million in City, they're not here for the short term.

I wanted Hughes to succeed but it is obvious he was going backwards. Our route to the Carling semis was easy and minimum requirement. I don't understand his defensive set up. I'm a coach and I don't see how he was setting up the teams plan to defend. After Sylvinhos' performance on Wednesday Barry should have been left back. Bruce just put a quick player out on their right and caused all sorts of problems for us.
Sunderland scored 3 times because of our sloppy play and it is only that they ran out of spirit that we ran out winners.
Mancini will bring in menatally stronger players who understand how to finish teams off. Our attack can beat anyone, he will build the defense into a much stronger unit and stop the tension that the current players seem to be playing under.

Regretfully the correct decision, welome Roberto and good luck.

MH should of really told mark bowen the defensive coach to leave and found a replacment and the board might not of sent mark hughes on his marching orders !!!

you have got to remember that sheikh monsour is pumping alot of cash into city and they arn't gonna sit back and see there 200 million quids worth of players not reaching there full potential

the games that we have thrown away you can say its not acceptable, the finger gets pointed to the manager and the back room staff rightly so
at first i was annoyed at the sacking of mark but after a while you do have to say they are doing the right thing !!!!

jan transfer window is days away mancini will have the pulling power to bring more top top top quality players to the club more better than the likes of lescott, kolo, veteran sylvinho and maybe mancini might have the guts to say to them buck up or find another club and to the likes of micah richards either wear the shirt with pride or piss off

I'll back them all the way. Like it or not they are far more important to the future of our club than any manager or player could ever be.

Although things could have been done better today it's as well to remember that Hughes was never an ADUG appointment so frankly they owed him nothing.

Great post, they backed him well for as long as they could. I said last night before any of this broke, that they would make the right decision, I didn't know at that point they probably already had.

Get behind the new team in charge, the owners are not idiots, if we're going to start the new regime with another split in the fans, then we really don't deserve any success ever.

I hope our owners are reading this because my respect for them has evaporated today. Disgusting is the only word for their behaviour. I honestly thought they were different but obviously they have lied from day one.
