No idea why it's not happened yet but surely all the sports, luxury goods emporiuii near Strangeways could be moved en masse into Debenhams, saves look out costs with just one entrance, exit . Then reopen Stuart Hall International Travel on the top floor and Bob's yer uncle.

It’s an absolute state. I walk through the so called gardens every day for work and have often seen gangs of people openly selling drugs, doing drugs and assaults. This is one of the first things people see when you get off the train as well…

The main area of the Christmas markets are located there as well. Why would you take your kids around there?

Another thing I’ve noticed not just around Piccadilly, but the amount of takeaways/ fast food joints in town is obscene.

It is, but anything is unrecoverable. Times Square in New York was an absolute shit hole in the late 80’s but they turned it around so it became a bit of a tourist location.
