lol, thought the same. i mean wtf is it with these people. worse than rags in defeat.
But none of the Tories on here has offered any convincing argument for more cuts, beyond the Central Office propaganda pumped out by The Mail & Telegraph. SWP's Back is by far the best of what is a pretty sorry bunch, who just trot out cliches or resort to sarcasm

Like most people, I meekly accepted the argument that we needed deep cuts to reduce the deficit without questioning. Then, when I actually did my own research and asked questions, I could see it was complete baloney. The so-called recovery is based on higher consumer spending, not higher productivity and Further cuts will make things worse. If the government actually invested money in infrastructure and paying public servants decent wages, that would help drive up output-based wage rises and increase growth. That would increase tax revenues and GDP, leading to reduction of deficits and debt as a proportion of GDP being much lower. That's not being left or right wing; that's being economically literate.

Hallelujah!

At last a common sense answer.

By that I presume one that agrees with you?
There is more than one way to achieve most things and the one that has been chosen by a democratic process is the one you like least well it's only five years so you're just going to have to suck it up as they say.

Socialists still in bed whilst the go getters of the world are up and ready for another day of enterprise, even though its a Saturday! Gorgeous morning, the smell of sweet blossom wafting, birds singing and now lets get this GREAT country going!

Must be because the intelligentra (if that is even a word) need more sleep I was in my office just before six and you are right it is a glorious morning.
Not a good day for the socialist when they eventually get up, just heard about the Tories July Budget where the newly re-elected Tory Chancellor is going to set out his vision for the next few years.

I am sure now he has no Lib dems to temper his right wing tendencies the lefties will be expecting him to tell the unemployed if they are hungry to eat their own babies etc. etc. and they will close the NHS and throw the poor onto the streets.

I personally am looking forward to continuing the realistic approach, leaning slightly towards austerity, with further measures aimed at all working people keeping more of what they earn and helping Businesses grow, a reduction in the Labour introduced Red Tape so all Businesses large and small can drive the Country towards a more productive five years with a higher levels of Employment which will benefit everyone.

If Labour win in 2020 this place will be like RAWK with the right wingers whingeing. There's been a fair amount of projection going on from the wingers (it is a right wing trait) with many of the RWNJs accusing lefties of the kind of behaviour that they themselves indulge in.

I particularly like the raggy comments when the RWers have been crowing like Rag Cafe after the vermin have won the derby with a 158th minute Rooney shinner with City down to 8 men.

!

Yes i have been partying all night as i do every night.

Champagne in my private members club onto a lap dancing club, trashed a restaurant, drank some more champers then James my chauffuer arrived in the limo to whisk me home, 3 birds on the arm . Quick dip in the heated pool followed by a couple of lines, a champagne brekkie with caviar and now its almost time to go fox hunting then off to Polo and more champers.

Its a tough life i agree, but somebody has to do it ;)

Well for one will not be whingeing because if they do win in 2020 it will either be a miracle kindred to the resurrection of Christ or the Tories have been so absolutely abysmal and incomprehensibly stupid that they didn't deserve to win!

I finished working at around 1am this morning and was already back working at 7am and have been on that schedule for several weeks.

Must be nice to experience a glorious morning. I'm too busy working my arse off to notice.
