I will await the finer details of course, but the man is a fucking crackpot.

The Labour Shadow Chancellors interview about it was just as bad. Insipid fucking claptrap.

If they are that fucking stupid between them to bring this ridiculous notion into actual Law, lets hope that the penalty for breaking it is 20 years minimum solitary confinement. Might make the cunts stick to there promises in future.

First of all it won't be a law in that there will be sanctions for breaking it.
Second will it include provisions for no tax rises of any kind as it would be easy to balance the books by such means ( like VAT increases)?
Third will it define what 'normal times' are, as apparently it is only meant to apply in such times.
Crackpot idea meant as a political stunt and by a Chancellor who borrowed more in the last parliament than all previous Labour Chancellors.

No he wants to run a surplus full stop unless there are exceptional circumstances. Stupid legislation.

Keynes also wants investment and tax cuts in times like now. The crackpot has raised VAT and reduced investment
