Strange that Pogacar doesn't wear a jacket when desending, that's seems an unnecessary risk to me
Definitely, his jersey was unzipped a bit on the upper slopes of the Tourmalet when the on screen graphic said the temperature at the top of the mountain was 14 degrees. Is he potentially on a bad day?Strange that Pogacar doesn't wear a jacket when desending, that's seems an unnecessary risk to me
He’d been pouring water over himself at every opportunity, certainly from what we saw on camera, for the last few days. His teams mates pouring it on him too. He even shaved his hair off also. My guess would be he’s had a temperature for a few days so some kind of illness for sure.Obviously something wrong with him either physically or medically.
I think the attention of a stage win at this particular point is a mixed blessing for this team, bearing in mind the recent revelations about their chief “carer” and his connections to certain characters back on their glorious 2012 tour.Ineos needed that if rumours are true Pinarello are binning them next year then Brailsford will have to pull more than a stage win out of the bag.
all these Alpine climbs of those in the Pyrenees that you see with hundreds of thousands of spectators and cars and camper vans at the side of the road with writing chalked into the road surface - well 65 years ago you had this
Driving a milk float round Great Budworth - lovely route that must have been, esp of a summer’s morning - just as long as you don’t take a rogue left turn and end up on the race track ;-)Just watching the 'highlights' show. The segment by Phil Liggett was delightful, talling about Paul Sherwood. Can remember Paul Sherwood flying past my milk float near Great Budworth lol
I'm really going to miss the Tour next year

Yep, what a finish.Bloody hell, sprinting at the top of Ventoux.
Yep, what a finish.
I don’t understand why Pogi was putting effort into outsprinting and beating JV at the end there. He’s got 4 mins lead in GC, there were no bonus seconds on offer and they were both outside the podium.
But if you’re gonna take that approach, go win the flippin’ stage! 5th is just meh.He did it for shits and giggles but more importantly to tell Visma they can employ any tactics they wish but he’s still gonna fuck their main man right over.
I like it
Yeah its a I'm stronger than you so don't fuck with meYep, what a finish.

Maybe, but it’s needless though, and in its own way a bit small time from him.Yeah its a I'm stronger than you so don't fuck with me
