Great racing on at the moment, last stage of Catalunya. Ayuso vs Roglic basically, but super visuals of Barcelona too. Makes me want to go back.
I watched that in the Rapha shop in Palma, Majorca on the last day of my cycling holiday.Great racing on at the moment, last stage of Catalunya. Ayuso vs Roglic basically, but super visuals of Barcelona too. Makes me want to go back.
Great stuff bud. I’d love to go there cycling one day. Heard it’s really popular & great place to ride.I watched that in the Rapha shop in Palma, Majorca on the last day of my cycling holiday.
I’m going for the umpteenth time in six weeks it’s just a great place to cycle you can flat land it or slog away in the mountains all you like, col de batalla is a beautiful climb and not stupid length or gradient but Sa Calobra can mess with your head and legs.Great stuff bud. He’s very very goodI’m at the match today so watching Flanders on catch up tonight. Pog to win
Go for it. It's as good as it gets. Decent weather, smooth roads, good food and drink, cycling culture, and not massively expensive.Great stuff bud. I’d love to go there cycling one day. Heard it’s really popular & great place to ride.
Great calls mate. On the womens side are either of the Backstedt girls riding? If so, I’d love to see one of them spring a surprise. Lizzie D probably a bit past it to win it a second time. Probably Kopecky, yeah. What are your picks for Sunday ? With luck on his side Ganna for me.
The Fems Kopekey, but would love to see one of our girls to get in a break and go for it.
11 Brit girls going my pick would be Georgi Pheiffer. Both Backsted girls in the fieldGreat calls mate. On the womens side are either of the Backstedt girls riding? If so, I’d love to see one of them spring a surprise. Lizzie D probably a bit past it to win it a second time. Probably Kopecky, yeah.
Men’s I would love it, just love it, if Pog could win it - to see him complete the set and win this and MSR (as well as the Vuelta of course!) would be a dream come true. And it would stop all these oldies going on about Eddy this and Eddy that. On second thoughts, maybe not …
Outside that, more realistically, I suppose MVDP, WVA, or Pedersen would be safe each way bets. I do agree if Pogi can’t do it, and tbf his light weight and lack of gradient on the course suggests he can’t, would love to see Ganna win it too.
Been away yesterday/today so missed the race but saw highlights on YouTube just now. Amazing that Pauline won having crashed earlier - I’m guessing she was one who didn’t go down too hard(?).
Looking forward to tomorrow now. Gonna get out on the bike for an hour or two early on if it’s dry, then get set for a stretch watching it all from 10am - then hopefully second half of womens derby match afterwards.
:-)
Btw, seen mixed messages about the weather forecast for the race tomorrow, gonna rain or not (??)
Ouch, not good pal. I’m guessing you were on a road bike, in which case, you me and everyone else is taking part in a pothole lottery every time we step out in the UK aren’t we?!Hope you have better luck than me the other day I pinged a front spoke 10 miles in :-( brutal return home with the wheel rubbing the brake pads had to seriously push through.

Anyway, hope that’s your share of bad luck done for 2025 now.
