Hardly top 4 form, is it?

Makes me wanna cry looking at them stats, don't think our owners will put up with that shit for much longer.

The stats don't make me cry. The performances that created those stats do, though.

As of now. We are 9 points behind Chelsea and level on games.
They have to play arsenal, pool the scum and they are not very
Convincing in there resent games. Why are so many city fan's abandoning
this season. IMO season is far from over.
Yes. And we have to go to the swamp and White Hart Lane in our last batch of games. Do you think that's a surefire 6 points for us? As it stands now, we're 9 points behind Chelsea (and 3 goals worse GD). We can get up to 85 points if we win all our remaining games. For Chelsea to get to the same total (disregarding GD for now), they'd have to drop 9 points in their last nine games, the equivalent of three defeats. So far, they've lost 2 out of 30. If the fat lady isn't singing yet, she's clearing her throat.

Lets be honest they could lose those three games and there is nothing to stop us winning at both the rags and spurs. No one is saying its a certainty and obviously if you were a betting man you would put your money on Chelsea. That said many would (and did) say the same thing the previous times we have won the league.

One things for sure though it needs the fans AND players to believe and it would be absolutely foolish to not give it a right good go. Our fans seem to demand that we're doing better but as a set of fans we are not showing a big time mentality throwing in the towell.

Those at Palace tomorrow (me included) lets give the team maximum backing. Palace last season was when the title race turned hopefully that can be the case again.

Can this pipe dream finally be put to bed now?

Re: The race for the Top 4

Weird that they have picked the 10th January to start their synopsis, which has been done to show us in the worst light.

Since the 1st January this is what we have done in the League:

Sunderland home win 3 points
Everton away draw 1 point
Arsenal home loss 0 points
Chelsea away draw 1 point
Hull home draw 1 point
Stoke away win 3 points
Newcastle home win 3 points
Liverpool away loss 0 points
Leicester home win 3 points
Burnley away loss 0 points
WBA home win 3 points
Palace away loss 0 points

Total 12 games total of 18 points ratio 1.5 points a game.

Not quite as bad as Sky are projecting however it's not good enough thats for sure, and I'm sure we all know that.

In our owner I trust!!

Absolutely sh*te. No passion. No ideas. No ambition. No fu**ing clue. Put that down to the manager or whatever you want, but the pricks across the Irwell are playing better than that. That has to tell you something. One more season of this? Or get a decent manager and some decent players?

Well some actually want to keep this guy and hold out for Pep even though there's no guarantee would come here.

IMO we should sign any top manager that's available or we're able to convince. This clearly does not include the likes of Bodgers, poochytina and others similar to those.

Well to be fair, Pep has never really had to coach a side in his life, has he? Inherited a fantastic Barcelona team, and then somehow lucked into a fantastic Bayern side. I think I could get either of those teams in the chumps league. I'd rather see someone who can work with a shower of shit, because that's what we've got at the moment.
Personally, I'd take a chance on Koeman.

Koeman appears like he's tactically smart but there's not much proof he can successfully manage against big teams or in Europe.

I don't think he gives any advantage compared to MP at all. What he did at Valencia winning the Copa Del Rey but losing out on everything else was inferior to MP's work at Villareal and Malaga.

Yes, but he's still young. Pellegrini isn't. He is going to bore everyone to death with his"attractive" football. We need someone with an edge. Someone who can do it from nowhere. Simeone fits the bill, but his team plays shi*e football. Pellegrini will just look at any opponent and say "4-4-2". That isn't tactics, that's a philosophy. Mourinho can do it. Ferguson could. We need someone who can do the same. Are City attractive under Pellegrini? Damn near fell asleep tonight, as we were knocking it about round the centre circle, 15 minutes to go, 2-0 down, let's go sideways, let's go backwards, oooooh let's hit one 10 metres forward, ........ohhh no it's gone backwards again.....sorry, if that's attractive football, then I' m a rugby fan.
Maybe I am. Or should be.
