Very relieved and looking far more promising now

People can say that some of us were flapping, but our horrendous form over a long period of time was cause for genuine concern IMO. Thankfully the ship has been steadied and we're nailed on for at least third now. Should get second if hull can get something tomorrow night, which is very possible

one win from QPR,swansea,saints virtually guarantees top 3 , looking forward to the club making the right decisions in the summer and putting us back in contention, and we are long overdue a kind champs league draw.

I think we can go on and win our last three games now, well hopefully anyway.

I think we will need United beating Arsenal if we want second though.

Yea. Win win situation. Would probably prefer liverpool to turn the heat up on the rags and arsenal win that one seen as there isn't a lot of difference between finishing second and third

I think psychologically it could play a part.

If Arsenal get second they will go into next season feeling superior to us and we can't have that happening in my opinion.

Yo can't give any sort of advantage to a rival, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem.

As long as we finish in the top 3, doesn't matter if its 2nd or 3rd apart from a bit of prize money.

Bang on fella. Beat qpr hopefully and with arsenal to play the scumbags 2nd would be great but 3rd would do.

It isn't just the PL prize money because there is also an impact on next seasons Champions League revenue.

50% of the TV Pool is based on position in the league and split:

1st 40%
2nd 30%
3rd 20%
4th 10%

2nd is def worth a few million more.
