Happened all over. I believe Ordsall once had a fine high street in regent road, as did Pendleton in Cross Lane and Broad Street. Then of course the 70s came and with it big roads like mentioned in the post above and in Salfords case the high rises and shopping centre. Might have been alright then but there's no communities left now. Not real ones.

The food hall at the mall is excellent. A few new bars in the area popping up. Signs looking good!

although bruntwood just bought it. No idea if that is a good or a bad thing.
