It’s really not worth going down the economics of it all, if you gained true independence then any current figures are not that relevant. Your GDP and tax take will be dependent on how successful Scotland as a nation becomes which is how it should be.Yes we would be down £11b. We give £79b in and we get £30b back. We will be fine and ee can grow our economy. How much will we be down yrar on year out of europe. Make that up in no time.
The true potential will take years to be clear so the question will always be are you happy being governed in the main by Westminster Parliament. A Scottish Parliament was always a half way house that suited no one long term.
Hopefully next time your fellow countrymen and women will be able to be less risk averse and take the plunge.
I think the SNP should hold their own referendum next year, I don’t think it should be done any later than this you need the Tories to be in power and royally fucking things up to help the cause.
