Personally I think it’s a good day for Scotland given that the police have finally stopped dragging their feet with this investigation and made an arrest.

The failure to do so while Mrs Murrell was FM strongly suggests to me that political influence was at play, as I struggle to comprehend how it would take almost two years for an investigation such as this - with a clear and obvious public interest - to reach the current stage.
Anything that damages devolved politics is a bad day for Scotland and brings us down to the level of Westminster. As I said let’s wait and see if there are subsequent charges.
 
Let’s see if there are charges. If individuals have broken the law then they will need to pay the consequences. If it results in more transparency re the parties finances then that’s a good thing.

Seems a tad overkill seeing an evidence tent outside their house but you are right, innocent until proven guilty.
