I don’t know. It isn’t too many years since I voted Scottish Tory foolishly believing that was the way to stay in the EU. They have shown what they are in the last few years. Lying bastards. I suspect many more have seen what I have seen and will vote for independence.
Like many, you believed their lies, but you won't again. They are literally taking people as mugs, to think that by going back on everything they promised for your vote and thinking you won't be fucked off shows us all how stupid they think we all are. They had one chance, they blew it, and people won't fall for the same shite twice. It's insulting, never a good thing to do to Scots, we don't let it go. Or should.

That is most likely all true.

My point was not about them though so much, as they are a known-ish quantity.

It is more the inclusion of foreign nationals I meant (as a result of Brexit, partly, ironically enough).

the SNP may have played a bit of a blinder there.
We voted 62% to remain. People voted No on the threat we would be out of the EU., They are rightly fucked off. I'm sure the vast majority of our new citizens from Europe will vote Yes. We also have 500,000 English people living here and if we get Indy, I bet you that number increases. All welcome. To live in a country that wants a strong NHS to look after us. To increase minimum.to living wage. To be on the right side of the Climate question, to be back in the EU. To invest more in Education, we will take back the railways into public ownership. Nobody believes any if thst will be easy. But it will be better than the last 12 years if Tory rule. At least we will control the narrative of what kind of country we want to become and not run by Old Etonian toffs who don't give a single fuck about the rest of us.

It’s as basic as wanting to be represented by a government that Scots vote for. I cannot recognise that this criminally deceitful bunch of charlatans represents our values and aspirations.

I wonder what it would take for the Scottish Lib Dem’s or Scottish labour to flip and support independence. Maybe we will see that happen in the run up to Indy ref 2

Well said. As for lab and Lib? If they want a future then they should. They won't, but they should. The thing is if we get it they will have a better chance of reinventing themselves as being in tune with public feel8ng. A fence or two will.be sat in, as neither has the courage in my opinion.

They don't even need to outright support it, just change to a more neutral stance, in line with their voters having different takes on it.

Labour, i can get, they have too much to lose.

Lib-dems though, surely, now is as good a time as any for them. They are far far stronger up here than down south, they are not taken as a serious contender at all, within the wider context. And their votes up here are generally divided amongst the snp and the tories, on the union question. A bit of a neutral stance and could at least drag some back based on policy.

You're right, I think they could double their seats if they did. Rennie needs replaced though, he's a fucking halfwit.

It's not a one party state. Again you are listening to media pricks trying to deny our right to vote who we want. Nobody has been forced to vote for them. We choose to. Please see that for what it is and not what the right wing want to delude you into believing. Do you think we are fucking stupid? We have rejected the Tories for 70 years. We now are rejecting Labour because both offer us nothing that we see as fundamental to creating a fairer country. That's not our fault. That's theirs. We see through their lies. I am proud of us for that.
Just be sure if you are getting divorced that they don’t end up with half your estate.
