The Spark that created the fire! (Mark Hughes)

Re: Mark Hughes forever remembered

Didn't he play Zabba and Vinny in midfield for the most part? It was only in the Hamburg game, when Dunne got sent off, that Vinny sat in defence and showed what he could do there.

I really didn't like the guy. Always blamed 'decisions' rather than just admitting when we were crap.

Didn't Kompany play AGAINST us in that game?

Nearly sure we played against him, Nige and Boateng that night.

No ndj was signed january before, vinny the summer before and shit **** played against us.

Re: Mark Hughes forever remembered

He made some very good signings and quite a few awful ones. His problem was that he couldn't even get his very good signings to play particularly well. He was shit.

Re: Mark Hughes forever remembered

He is an average manager, no more than that, but he WAS a great player...

Anyone who thinks otherwise, needs to give their head a wobble....

People have been banned for less than the crime of posting a video like that.

Yep. Think the poster is getting mixed up with a pre-season friendly we played at Hamburg prior to the start of that season when Kompany and De Jong would've still been with them.
