Anyone else devastated that public enemy are supporting, what on earth are they thinking ?
when you think of the average stone roses fan I wouldn't have put public enemy in their cd collection, I was looking forward to making a day of it like heaton park I don't want to be anywhere near the place with them and chronixx on

I'm not bothering going because of that. And I like decent hip hop but PE are garbage. Plus The Stone Roses aren't that good to pay all that money for a ticket to just see them.

I've got a PE album and also Duran Duran doing a version of 911 is a Joke. A lot of people of buying records in the 80s would have a bit of PE but I agree that they would not be my first choice. Bring back Dub Sex.

Even though I thinks its a catchy as hell, shame on you Squire for nicking the Riff for All for One from The Falls - Squid Lord
I don't actually like "All For One" but I have no problem with people "pinching" riffs or beats or lyrics from past songs, that's what all music has always been like. The Fall probably pinched that riff from a 60s Motown song which was probably pinched from a Sister Rosetta Tharpe song which was probably pinched from an old country folk song... That sort of thing runs through most songs, often without it being intentional with something someone might think it's original when they start strumming away for the first time on a song, but sometimees just through influence and a nod to the past.
