You really believe that Gord ? I'm of the opinion they've known all along, it just didn't suit them (or most of them) to report it as such, maybe change is afoot ?

Utd could spend a billion more and not be affected by FFP.
They aren't in Europe.

I initially thought that maybe City's PR team had been doing a great job in pushing this line and maybe they have. But the cynic in me, having heard it repeated by quite a few different people who aren't normally 'on message', leads to an alternative view.
