All City had to do was nothing and we would have been laughing.

Our new President has no idea what is going on other than he had to do it because of their debts. His comments are ludicrous.

We are crazy to sign up to this. I thought we had the cleverest owners in the World. How have we been dragged into this? We have hardly any teams to play against and can’t sign any players and all to save overspending clubs in huge debt including United.

We were in a very strong position compared to the other ESL teams. We aren’t now.

I hope I’m wrong.
This screams Soriano panicking

55% of revenue which is fine to be honest.

The clubs will have revenues of around €1bn. That means you can pay 25 players €350k/week without breaking it.

As long as super club revenues are kept close (that's the whole point for American owners) then it'll be a level playing field.

Here’s a thought, fifa were worried about waffa influence on the global game ; not heard much from them on this yet have we.........

They are the only ones who can stop players playing in a World Cup

The hysteria around this is over the top.

The top European Leagues and the Champions League are closed shops anyway. They only sell hope to teams outside the cartel but that's all it is, hope.

A Super League was inevitable. The reformatting of the CL in the 90's was the start, then the coefficient and seeding nonsense and then FFP were all nails in the coffin of other clubs.

Chelsea finished 4th in the Premier League and were seeded straight through to the group stage ahead of 42 champions from European Leagues. If people aren't angry about that, then their anger at this is hypocritical.

European football is already a con, this Super League is just removing the pipedreams of other clubs.

It's not the death of football, it's the evolution of it. We don't have to like it but we're fortunate that us as City fans have our club in it.
That sounds like a direct quote from Joel effin Glazier!
Self serving and selfish, which is exactly what the rest of the football community is calling us and the rest of this band of idiots!

If we know this though the higher up’s at city would have definitely known this .
We have some very serious people running our club .
They have their reasons for joining and clearly must think long term this super league will be better for us if we’re included .
Whether they can handle the backlash and fall out of this though I’m not sure .

TV rights mate. They will share them at first, then go their own club way. It will be allowable revenue
