The British government has parliamentary supremacy and can do, quite literally, whatever it wants.

That includes, for example, refusing visas to prevent transfers, making police unavailable for games so matches can't be attended by fans and, of course, introducing legislation that clubs need to be fan owned in part or whole etc.

They probably can’t stop it. However, they can put obstacles in place that makes the whole thing less attractive to those involved.

Couldn’t really care less at this stage. A bit like the matches coming up over the next month or so,the whole thing has ruined what could have been amazing for City fans. The powers that be have shown no regard for us so why should we show it back.
