Im happy with what Pep has said. He has rightly rubbished the idea. Not a sport when sucess is guaranteed.
Agree. And yet, here we are.I do, they have made a very bad decision, football is a way of life in the UK, they clearly don't get that
do you think he'd of said as much if had won, he's spiky at best when dont winHe's only spoken in general terms so far regarding the proposal, I thought Klopp was more outspoken in opposition against it yesterday.
My take was he's less than happy, I'd not be surprised if he walked if this happens.
The CL new format. Have a read of the qualification criteria. One is a slow-burn ESL, the other is here and now. We're on our way to an ESL just depends on when.
Look at the top of the PL. When people talk about competition and dreams, that's really not that compatible with what we have. It's not complete stratified but it's not like we are defending something angelic. It's pretty rotten already
If (big if) the club were setting something up to go against all of this I think they'd give Pep the autonomy to rail against it in his own words. A bit like after the CAS thing. No, he gave a statement that’s scripted - there are two sound bites in there that we will hear over and over again ‘anti-competitive, it’s not sport if success is assured for a few’.
That’s setting up a potential club statement ?
