I do, they have made a very bad decision, football is a way of life in the UK, they clearly don't get that
Agree. And yet, here we are.

Do we now hate our management for caving reluctantly under the gun - or forgive this transgression?

I'm for forgiveness - assuming that City management fights the Superleague as best they can.

It's complicated though - as any agreement to join the Superleague in the first place has - no doubt - all sorts of legal obligations - such as the requirement to keep secret any discussions about the deal.

The CL new format. Have a read of the qualification criteria. One is a slow-burn ESL, the other is here and now. We're on our way to an ESL just depends on when.

Look at the top of the PL. When people talk about competition and dreams, that's really not that compatible with what we have. It's not complete stratified but it's not like we are defending something angelic. It's pretty rotten already

Oh for sure but at least with the Champions League I know West Ham and Leicester are in if they finish top 4.

I'm not actually sure UEFA wanted to make those changes either, I think they were trying to appease the 'super' clubs, the 'super' clubs agreed to those changes and then conspired to create something else.

I know which one I'd rather be in.

No, he gave a statement that’s scripted - there are two sound bites in there that we will hear over and over again ‘anti-competitive, it’s not sport if success is assured for a few’.

That’s setting up a potential club statement ?
If (big if) the club were setting something up to go against all of this I think they'd give Pep the autonomy to rail against it in his own words. A bit like after the CAS thing.

I don't know for sure though so you could be right.

The writing was on the wall years ago! Firstly when United started missing out on league titles and now not regularly qualifying for the champions league along with Liverpool strengthened the idea. Arsenal have fell off a cliff and Spurs are, well Spurs...

The gap at the top is getting closer and closer. Not Necessarily in fighting for the title but from 3rd to 8th it's wide open. United and Liverpool can probably stomach not winning the league every year or 10, but when the reality OF NOT regularly qualifying for the champions league is knocking on their door they have shit themselves!!

They have destroyed the dreams of every player that wants to challenge in the Premier league and they have dragged us along with them - and we haven't even put up a fight!
