Not that I give a shit as I will not be watching any of it but I disagree with those saying we become an also ran in the super league. Every club will be able to pay roughly the same wages and there's no real competition anymore making winning largely meaningless which were always the two major things to consider when players decide who to play for. With that gone it becomes a question of location which we lose out on but then the football they play and there's nobody better than pep. Why would you go play for a team that play dreadful football when you can play for a team playing some of the greatest football you'll ever see? Dinosaur managers like mourinho will be finished. Why would any club employ a defensive manager churning out horrible football when results are largely irrelevant?

But if all the players from the 15 clubs were banned from the World Cup, the competition becomes a farce and completely pointless

they know they’ve got FIFA, UEFA and the PL by the bollocks and they know these competitions are going to have to fall in line and compromise

FIFA couldn't care less about UEFA. Their long term gameplan is to have a proper World Cup for club teams. They will probably do a deal with the ESL to make it happen at some point.

Does it distort European competition? How many teams have won the champions league? It is always the same teams in the later rounds. We all hate the group games. What will actually change? Once FFP was created and used by the g14 the dream of fair competition was dead.

League merit is the only real shame and it will distort competition in that regard.

The Premier League hold the most important ticket in town here, I still think they hold the power, ESL loses all of it's value if the 6 English teams aren't there. Only so many El Clasico's in a row people are willing to watch.

The ESL want's to run alongside domestic competition, the Premier League can stop that. American investors are backing this because the English sides are there. The Premier League has to kick them out, take the financial hit and hope they come crawling back.

The thing is though that the PL is the most important ticket in town predominantly due to those clubs. Without them, it loses a lot of its appeal and financial power. It would be a very brave decision to kick them out and would probably damage the PL more than the clubs that are leaving,

thats a big card the PL have,but will they play it,ban those clubs and its over but it may backfire and the SL will become the sole league for those clubs with more games

It doesn’t exist - the identity has been gradually diluted since Soriano took over. It’s now CFG FC, and as I’ve previously stated, I can’t see it it being primarily based in Manchester for too much longer once the domestic league exiles us. This league will go global, and they’ll find a more desirable part of the world to base the flagship club in.
