"See you in court FIFA/UEFA/FA/EPL/PFA/ESL" (delete as appropriate)
I suspect City might be happy to accept this given the pain it would inflict on our rivals."See you in court FIFA/UEFA/FA/EPL/PFA/ESL" (delete as appropriate)
Yes, I think probably so, (was a poor joke), and you would hope the others would think likewiseI suspect City might be happy to accept this given the pain it would inflict on our rivals.
I agree.I suspect City might be happy to accept this given the pain it would inflict on our rivals.
Legally did we actually join this new ESL organisation?"See you in court FIFA/UEFA/FA/EPL/PFA/ESL" (delete as appropriate)
I think cool heads are needed. Punishments need to be very carefully thought out. Both parties need a resolution which does not result in a situation where everyone beggars each other and everyone carries a grudge. Both parties need each other. The "uninvited" 14 need the global pulling power of the Big Six and the Big Six need a product which has a degree of romanticism and history beyond the "Sky era".I agree.
But it will be interesting to see how much.
Substantial?
50m fine each?
That's a fair wedge and if UEFA were to follow suit that's a 100m hit to each club.
We could probably absorb it as could the rent boys and rags, but dippers, spursy and gooners could suffer.
In this scenario there's no big signings next season that's for sure

Our was it just letter of intent or something similar?
It's the joining which seems to put us in breach of the PL rule.
I don't think we'll challenge it unless the fine is considered excessive given that it could be argued the breach of the rule was corrected within 48 hours with no impact other than breach of trust?
