Wow that's the Raggiest post I have seen on here in ages........Its like look at me I am a Rag

Shit one sec, Yeah we have got the league in the bag going to be a piece of piss if our last 3 games are anything to go by. Fuck it I will use my rose tinted specs to ignore how good the opposition are!

Rag hahahaha would glass you for that! :D

Ignore them.....

Some people on here are just looking through Blue tinted specs all the time......believing that our management past or present cannt make mistakes and that every other team signings arent as good as ours (when in fact they are)...and really itd not that fellani is as technically good as someone like Yaya or silva etc but its about what he adds to their midfield in that he is a very physical player which is what they have been missing

I prefer to call it a realistic assement of our chances :)

But the fact remains Chelsea are short on fire-power and my fear was them adding to that with real quality. They haven't.

ManU need more than just Fellaini. If they had added Herrera that would have concerned me more but they haven't.

Spurs have bought well but have lost Bale and will take time to gell.

Liverpool and Arsenal have the benefit of continuity and have bought well. Arsenal could be a surprise contender so certainly not underestimating them or Wenger who I have a lot of time for.

I certainly do not think our management is infallible. Txiki has been caught short of the CB front and I don't especially rate Pellegrini but its is still the nucleus of a title winning squad with some excellent additions and compares very favourably to our two immediate rivals one of whom (along with Woody the cowboy) is making his club look laughable. And when people start laughing you know you're in trouble.

And then you wake up, Utd have strengthened with a great buy. Chelsea have Eto and Torres, We now have a weak midfield due to yaya not being active enough to play with only 1 man next to him. And a defence with the speed of a cripple on a stairlift. It is going to be a tough season, Arsenal still won't be contenders their defence is worse than ours.
Chelsea have eto and torres ?? eto is 32 years old and come for his last pay day and torres is a spent force , we have aguero, negredo, dzeko, jovetic . Our first choice centre backs Kompany,Nastasic , Chelsea have terry and cahill , yoooonited have camelgob and vidic , i know which centre backs i would back in a 100 yard sprint , you must be smoking some good shit.

But Kompany is not fit right now and will take some time to get back to his best. Aguero is hardly ripping up trees is he. Chelsea have Mou back he will create a fortress at the bridge I hate his style of play but all he needs is one goal out of either of his strikers a game and he will get a win. And who needs a 100m sprint when you have experience and have already read the first 50m ;)

I am very suprised today that Jose has let Moses and Lukaku leave, both of these kids have done more than enough to deserve their chance. Chelsea aren't as strong as they were yesterday.

We also got a real big break in that Arsenal and United signed the players the wrong way round !

Fellaini would have been awesome at Arsenal, adding some backbone and Ozil in the same team as Rooney and Van Persie doesn't bare thinking about !

I am very worried though that Mr P is set on changing our defensive structure set out by Mr M.

We have a great chance and if all our big guns turn up most weeks I would make us heavy favourites but to say it is their "for the taking" really is premature.

you stated our defence has the speed of a cripple , now you are stating , experienced players read the first 50 metres, make your mind up .

You say 'heavy favourites' I say 'there for the taking'. Semantics dear boy.

Seriously though it is there for the taking but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot of hard work needed to take it. Its more a recognition that we have the squad to do the job and are in a healthier position than some of our immediate rivals.

this will be the closest premier league for a long time , liverpool and spuds will take points off teams , 80 pts will win it this season.

Are people forgetting just how lethal Eto was ? he may 32 but he'll get chances on a plate with some of the players they have.

As for us it's about the defence, if Pelligrini can sort that out and we do't get mauled by injuries then we'll be in the mix. Though am not sure about this 442 business personally, we'll have to wait and see.

Yep as I said in another thread whoever wins the title this year will be the most deserved champions ever. It won't be easy, we aren't exactly playing like Barcelona ourselves. Chelsea under Mourinho imo will edge it, our away form is key if were to win it need to improve drastically.
