That also involves us losing a game, which is never good for goal difference ;)

Although imagine the fun of going in to the last day level all round, and it being a shoot out as to who could score the more goals.

Them playing a team with Coady centre back and is playing a team managed by Gerrard would indicate we’d have no chance.
 
pitty spuds couldnt hold out for the win, the margin for error for city would have been far greater but we can afford a draw now in one of the remaining games while we win the others,win 3 draw 1 will do us

Lots of people suggesting Gerrard could do Liverpool a favour, but the best he can do is not play a weakened "holiday" side. I assume he's trying to do well in most matches, so can't imagine he's been saving up his best tactics and motivational speeches for a game that means little for villa.
 
Would be ideal if we could stick a few goals on the Geordies the goal difference would be like an extra point , after the Dippers peformance against Spurs wouldnt be surprised if they drop points at Villa , and we could have the title sewn up by next Sunday , always been a glass half full person :)

Shit yeah, imagine we needed a load of goals and we are playing a team manager by Gerrard. He will ask his players to try super hard; double hard in fact to not concede any goals. Idiot

yes,4 would be nice today,but il still be thankfull if its 1,the goal average thing is best left on the burner should we require that cushion

Yeah, the two things I remember from the 2012 game was the thought that we had blew it (we had no belief then that we could both fight back and the rags could crumble, things are very different now!) and that traffic getting out of the Etihad. I just wanted to get away!

But my opinions arent rooted in negativity.....you havent a clue about me as a person....I feel no need to comment on what I may perceive as someones character on here, but i do wonder about those people who do feel the need to.

All Ive said in my opion is that now I think Liverpool will win all their remaining games and i believe we have the slightly harder fixtures....
Scousers
A slight hope is that Southampton fans might turn it personal for Liverpool nicking VVD and Mane off them a few years back and really want to get one over on them......its unlikely but away at Southampton there is a slight possibility....

Villa i feel will be a walkover - they are vey open and wont be able to keep liverpool out

Wolves - A couple of years back with Traore anything could happen as thye could sit all 10 behind the ball and use him on the break...but now they dont have that option....they will be on the beach as well by that point.

Us
Its also not inconceivable that Gerrard will really want to put one over on us in the last game of the season - he is the leader/chief cheer leader of the cult after all - that may make it a harder game than it should and look what happened with QPR with the 93:20 moment - everyone thought that game would be pretty easy but strange results happen (especially with us) on the last days of the season

West ham - I think can still technically get Europa league?......they are a good team -the good thing about them is that they play to win which means it should be an open game....which favours us

Wolves - hopefully as per above

Newcastle - I will take great pleasure in sticking one over that fat geordie on youtube! Hope St maximan is still in a slump..they will aim to use him on the break and thats where we are still vulnerable at times. An early gosal or two could settle us down...we need to make the most of it if that happens nd go for the throat.....its still a possibility it could go to goal difference and as it stands the scousers have +1 better than us.....

Don't get too carried away :-)
I thought they played well against Spurs actually, got to give Spurs credit, their game plan worked very well, they defended extremely well and looked dangerous going forwards. I don't expect the scousers to drop anymore points. For me we just focus on winning every remaining game.

Just an alternative view , quite a few pundits and media believe we are the ones who will crack up , and yet the Dippers have blinked first , and Klippety's bitter rant about Spuds tactics after the game is a sign that he is definitely feeling the pressure.
