Hot take, but liverpool have been kind of poor in most games during their winning run, but because they were basically playing all the bottom 7 in a row and mostly at home they won the games. I'd be afraid more if they were in blistering form but mostly they grinding out 1 goal wins against poor sides. theyll drop points before we play them.

I agree they haven't been very impressive, but this may be due to their horrific fixture congestion: they have played every 3-4 days and the performances in some games have suffered from it. The good news is that their fixture schedule will get even more difficult from now, excluding the two games before and after the international break, Nottingham and Watford.

Brighton drew their last game against Liverpool and beat them last season. The last 3 previous meetings it is W1 D2 for Brighton. As difficult a fixture for them as Crystal Palace is for us.
We seem to get better results away to Palace than at the Etihad. Hopefully on Monday as well.

Liverpool have the uncanny knack of playing teams which we have just played.

Their game in hand away at Arsenal before we meet eachother is huge. Think that’ll be the one that sees the title race move closer in our favour

Said after our spurs loss they won't drop points until we play them, they've got a fully fit squad and have something to chase, they aren't going away. It's upto us to maintain the gap and then hopefully widen it and kill off their hopes when they come here.

Brighton were very poor. On paper that game could have been difficult for Liverpool, but it was easy in reality. Brighton are in bad form now.

As long as we win vs Palace and don't lose vs Liverpool, we'll be in a strong position. Liverpool might win 90+ pts if they get a result at the Etihad. But if we beat them they might give up and concentrate on the cups.

Would feel a hell of a lot more confident if they didn't sign Diaz. As much as I hate to admit it- he's very good. I'd argue he's more TALENTED than any of Liverpool's attackers. Does a bit of everything.
