I was going on the fact that us, and them, will win all our remaining fixtures apart from when we play each other.

I think he was more making a point about the psychological effect of twice leading 2-0 early in the match and absolutely coasting it (the question was, “How many do they want to score?”) and ending up 2-2. I can't actually remember that happening to a title challenger this late in the season.
I still think we have to win everything. People starting to calculate whether we can get a draw against them and stuff like that. I'm not even thinking of it. Anything other than victory is not an option, as far as I'm concerned. They might
drop points at St James's Park. Assume they win everything else.

Nope - It was my post he was replying to, and the draw yesterday means that if we beat them, then we can also drop points in another match EVEN if they win everything. That wasn't the case before yesterday.

I'm not convinced that we'll both win every game between now and the end of the season, so any points dropped makes a difference.

Yep we have to beat them then even tho we will have games in hand it will be them that have to start chasing realistically. They will beat Southampton but Chelsea home us away then Newcastle away could just take it away from them.

No way. Southampton? And at the Emirates? No way. I'm actually hoping for a victory limited to a two or three goal margin. Anything more will make serious inroads into our goal difference advantage, and they'll come to us flying again.
Even if they get five goals, they’d still be two behind, we’d have two games in hand, and still have to play them at the Etihad, if we beat them & win out games you’d have to think we’d be in a healthy position GD wise

Now i'm confused...

I think they re going to thrash Southampton, the nerves will be our game wednesday week.
Hopefully the Arsenal players have the same mindset.
Of course I completely agree with you that Arsenal are very strong favourites but you never know!!

I'm sure we will both be delighted with a James Ward Prowse winner in the 93 minute!!!!! :-)
