Nope - It was my post he was replying to, and the draw yesterday means that if we beat them, then we can also drop points in another match EVEN if they win everything. That wasn't the case before yesterday.

I'm not convinced that we'll both win every game between now and the end of the season, so any points dropped makes a difference.
Right, now we're getting somewhere.
If both of us win every game then we still have to BEAT them to win the league right? The same as it was before they drew yesterday.

Now i'm confused...

Yep, reading you too quickly and conflating your posts with other calculations. Sorry, my bad.

Look, let's just make life simple and win every fucking thing, eh?

Arsenal naturally are going to be having a lot of doubts having given up 2 goal leads like that. We all know how difficult and mentally straining it is on the title run in.

The pressure they are feeling has been coming and building for weeks. Winning games in the last minute is a great feeling at the time but it doesn’t breed confidence in the long run, more a relief with lots of energy spent

Realistically they need at least a draw against us as London derby against Chelsea, Newcastle away and Brighton at home is a tough run of fixtures.

If we beat them, I would expect them to drop at least 5 points in those games.

The only way I can see Arsenal winning the league is beating us, which I just don’t believe will happen.

It would be incredible to repeat that feat again. I think if we did, and thereby won the league, it would have to cement this squad over the last six years as the greatest ever in English football.

If we did that then we'd have played the last 20 league games of the season with 55 points out of 60.

That's on pace for 105pts over 38 games. 18W 1D 1L.

Incredible feat of team sport if we pull it off.

In 2018/19 we won 18 of the last 19 games (Newcastle away being the loss) which is a truly incredible record and I think unmatched as a record in the top European leagues over an actual half season (rather than 50% of the games in a season played consecutively), even for Bayern.

Don’t think the west ham game means much for the short term. We still have to beat Arsenal, then if we beat them we can have a draw and still win the league.
This is the bit that puzzles me, people seem to be saying we only need a draw against Arsenal and to win our other games but that will keep them one point ahead assuming they also win their remaining games. The way I see it we need to win at the Etihad, they only need a draw.
