Hate to say it but more worried by the rags than Arsenal, they have finally got a manager who knows what he's doing and they have hit a rich vein of form. If we could get Stones back healthy I don't think it is out of the question we could go on a run. We need some pieces to fall into place. We need better form out of Kevin as well.

Our season to date form has us finishing on 84 points.

Even if we up our points per game to 2.5 (winning 5 games out of 6) we’ll only finish on 88.

I simply stated Arsenal were not answering ALL the questions posed of them because they lost to us.

It's impossible to state we wasted them away until the end the final standings, but taking points directly from your main title rival is a good start.

Bit of a re-wording, which is really semantics now. I read back both and stand by what I said. But take your point about intended meanings. And apply it to mine too, so still works the exact same way for both.

Lets see where it goes. We haven't been asking arsenal questions most of this season, and 2 games against them won't matter if we don't do it more consistently by keeping the pressure on them. It isn't in our hands and hasn't been for over 90% of the season. It is a game if sit and wait for them to slip, and watch their confidence grow every time we slip. That game against them is a long way away yet and a lot can happen by then.


I do think this will be the one year that wherever the title ends up, it will have bee lost rather than won.

Title race is still very much on. Arsenal don't look great, and haven't for a while. They've managed to grind out some results, but they're unlikely to go on a relentless winning run as we've seen during the battles with the dippers.

Equally, we don't look capable of going on a run either. Having said that, the general levels and workrate were brilliant on Saturday. Foden and Alvarez get up and down the pitch, move off the ball well and Gundogan did a great job pulling the strings. Perrone looked solid in the middle. There are options, it depends how much Pep is willing to experiment and rotate and whether that helps or hinders us. I'd like to see a fixed and settled formation for a while but it's so hard to know what our best 11 is this season that we might have some success mixing things up depending on the opposition. We're entering the crunch time, where pressure ramps up. I don't think there's any pressure on City. I don't actually expect us to win it based on what I've seen. But there's huge pressure on Arsenal and I don't think they can handle it.
