I thought the points would be between 85 - 89, but City recovered well from a dip and the World Cup interruption. The charge and the winning streak have been breathtaking. Just like Fernandinho's talk last season, there must have been one of such. Hopefully, a player would discuss those details at some point.

The answer to the conundrum is that the idiots (mostly blokes not kids) who think that it’s the best thing ever to bring shame on our club and introduce a risk of points deductions by running around on the pitch like a bunch of bubble blowing telly tubbies, going oooooooh look at me in the manner of total dickheads, should just grow the fuck up and not give the FA any possible excuse to dock points or impose fines etc.

Obviously, these things are terrible to happen and those who do it are plain morons, but I mean if it happens there is a huge fine or points deduction is on the table too?

We've been fantastic, played more games than anyone season after season with a small squad & added most players from any European side at the WC to our list of things to overcome as well now.

We lost at home to Brentford and drew against Everton.

We even drew at Forest after taking the lead.

Your table doesn't reflect it was always a two point gap, factoring in the game in hand and Arsenal coming to us.

Bad results come at all times.

Arsenal haven't bottled it, they have performed well above expectations.
Exactly, I said similar to someone a couple of weeks back who was bemoaning the points they had dropped to cut their lead. I pointed out that City could also look at points dropped that allowed Arsenal to build a lead in the first place and that the league is won or lost over 38 games, not 3 or 4.

I think Arsenal have had a great season and if their mentality is right it's a valuable experience that should help them continue to get stronger.

Looks like it's slipped away from them now, but they've come very close to winning the league. If we were in their position I'd be pissed off to come away with nothing, but given a little time to think about it I'd be very encouraged by what the team's shown this season.

The test for Arteta is to tweak the fine margins but more importantly to energise that squad to come back stronger next season. The effort of one good year is nothing compared to the effort of competing every year.
And to come back in a season with additional european games thrown in

Don’t forget the derby either - another point robbed off us.
