Exactly, like they’ve got Arsenal away next week when we have Southampton at the same weekend, at least one of them has to drop points and I’d prefer it to be Liverpool! ( but will take a draw!)

There is a lot of outside issues ( more pep contract than anything ) that will impact us, plus injuries and aging key players that mean we ain’t as good as we were 2 seasons ago….

Agreed it is a long way from being in the bag and due to injuries to key players I can’t see us going on a long 15 plus game run this season
But Liverpool have Chelsea and Arsenal next we have two team in the bottom 3
I fully expect us to be top after those matches
Which is where we will want to be be and that’s not fully gelling

The story of Pep's time in England, imo, is him working out how to win football games when the team isn't playing particularly well.
 
We’ll never win the league with the PL encouraging refs and var to conspire against us
 
Arsenal v liverpool next week.

Draw would be ideal but wouldn't be against a liverpool win to create a gap to arsenal
 
Liverpool have had some really kind fixtures to start this season. Their fairly tough run starts now.
