You are saying that like is it your choice to run away with an early lead and that was the approach which you won it from previously? If that was the case then why didn't it happen any other season. What you have got and it is the same as the year when you won it, is a City side that has dominated for years and experiencing a difficult season. By all means Liverpool are taking advantage of that, without Liverpool we would be top, how crazy does that sound. Arsenal took 4 points off you last year and 4 off us. They can cut it in the big games, it is the lesser games which has hampered them.

If you think that on the very first day of December the title is won then more fool you, it more than likely is but don't count your chickens la
I’m saying the only way that has been proven to beat prime Peps city to a title is to have an amazing start combined with City having a slow one.

If you are in with a shout during the final run then it’s basically over as has been proven in recent years. The only way to beat Peps City to a title is to build such an early lead that they turn their proper attention to other competitions.

This is what happened when Klopp won the title with Liverpool and Arne Slot will be hoping history repeats itself. I’m not saying it’s our choice but if the opportunity presents itself we have to take it

You only build that early lead based on City's performance, so I am saying it isn't a tactic or an approach anybody can take or use, you just take each game as it comes. If you have a lead in a run in and throw it away that is on you. If you go 11 clear next week and fail to win the league that will be a monumental bottle. Even eclipses Rodgers and was it 21 season you was 8 ahead after 13 games or so, we was 8th and won the league. As I say don't get too carried away just yet, be respectful and enjoy the ride, The last time we lost a title we went on to win the next four ;)

I don’t think I am being disrespectful at all. I think if anything I am being extremely complimentary.

I’m just saying the ONLY way to beat City to a league title is to build a decent early lead and if they are looking vulnerable in the season you must post 10+ wins on the board before a third of the season has been played.

11/10 for Liverpool W on Sunday looks a tempter, it is normally something like 11/4 for them at home against us in recent years, and wasn't expecting that this time, odds against is still value.

For Liverpool to win the title it is 5/6 with most, and everything considered the Home win is much better value, although I wouldn't touch City at 7/2.

If the gap is no more than 8 by the time we play West Ham at home we will have overcome the rough patch with damage limitation and still have a realistic chance.

Reported for coming on here solely to be a **** to another ****.
The only reason the arsenal supporter takes swipes at Liverpool here, is to endear himself to those that will fall for it so he can sneak in passive and sometimes outright open jibes at City.

He is probably away doing the exact same on a Liverpool site, where some think he is balanced for occasionally mocking City.

This whole thing was a bit funny a day or so ago but is now getting tiresome. I'm now just waiting for kaz8 the spurs fan to call Barconnie the chelsea fan a rag, and then we can maybe get back on topic here.

That's why I said he's a ****.

An example of this is someone like BlueMoonRisin. And that is exactly why I came on here to call the Gooner out on it yet ended up being insulted by one of the guys who falls for his sneaky ways.

Different story if somebody's pretending to be a City fan whilst spouting utter drivel, but are we really so spiteful and paranoid that we won't allow a fan from another club to express their opinion?

Oh they are both more than welcome, and as I said before I often openly agree with some thinge bridgeno1 says. No issue with that at all, and happy to engage on a post by post basis.

I'll also say what I think and that is that at least one of them has shown himself to be a fanny.

Anyway.

I'm still not writing us off, for what it is worth.
