Can we have that geezer back please...just for today at least

He avoided this place like the plague whenever we beat Spurs. He only ever came on giving it the big un before the game or if they won.
I know but it was funny, took Spurs and himself far too seriously

Tim Sherwood was a refreshing change to bollocks and bluster of other managers. His team were going to lose regardless of that decision

Completely agree. Imagine what Pulis or Allardyce would have said if those decisions - which were tight calls even if correct - had gone against them?

No excuses from Sherwood, other than that they had played a very good team. Respect him massively (sorry) for that.

FWIW I thought Spurs played pretty well, at least in the second half of the first half. They did things at pace, were quick to pick up on second balls, their delivery from set pieces was exceptional - I mean, as good as (if not better than) anything any team has produced all season - and they didn't give up even at 3-0 down and only 10 men. There was a 5 minute period after they scored when I thought they looked more likely to score a second than we did to scoring a 4th but we passed our way out of that phase and just quietened the crowd and the opposition down. Jovetic's goal sealed it, but what killed Spurs off was our ability to retain the ball against 10 men.

Spurs will play worse than that and win games comfortably.

I thought Spurs done ok last night up until the sending off. A bit of luck going there way and the Dawson goal would of been given and penalty wouldnt of went our way it ruined the game but I am happy we got the points there leading into the Chelsea game. Loris also pulled off some brilliant saves too.

Spurs March looks good and they will have some say on our rivals for the title. They go to Chelsea and Liverpool and have Arsenal at home under Sherwood and if they get one or 2 more players back they will put it up to those teams. I hope Sherwood is given time at the club as he looks like he knows his stuff.

Really?
He looks utterly clueless to me, so for the opposite reason I too hope he is given time at the club, although I doubt Levy will tolerate the current shambles for much longer, and bonkers Hoddle will probably be in before long

Hello Blues fans. Honestly, many of us Spurs fans are right behind Sherwood. Under AVB, we seemed to be playing negative football and although I supported him, I knew deep down he wasn't the man to drive us to that next level. Now i'm not saying Sherwood is that man either but prior to us getting spanked last night, we were on a little roll ourselves and seemed to be playing good football again, gaining 5 wins and a draw. Once we get all our main players back, we will hopefully be back on a steady ship again.

With Spurs we seem to chop and change Managers like it's fashion, little wonder we seem to hit a brick wall every few years. I personally want to see Sherwood get at least to the end of next season before we decide he needs to stay or go. A big Manager has often failed us in the past and there may be no difference if we do it again.

Anyway, any chance of swapping Aguero for Gylfi Sigurdson? :)

I really hope so, then I can hate them even more. Levy didn't look amused last night, but he is looking more and more like Voldemort every passing day.
