These teams hardly change AwayDays point that the europa league is full of "drab rubbish low key disinteresting games ", no matter how far you wish to stretch technicalities to the point of lunacy as none of those are of the required calibre of the champions league. I do sometimes feel you enjoy courting anger and intentionally trying to piss others off, I wish you'd mellow out.

Thought we played well tonight, Lamela was excellent.

Agree, he was excellent. Looked up for it tonight then upped it a gear once he scored. Love his close control. AVB has to seriously consider putting him and Townsend on the wings this week while he is full of confidence. I'd be very disappointed in AVB if lennon waltzes back into the team.

Although we don't concede many it shows that we can be picked off if people time it right. Still some work to do going forward

It's really quite simple.

A club which qualifies and plays in the Champions League is a Champions League club.

I'm not sure where this idea came from that only the 32 clubs which participate in the Group Stage section of the competition are Champions League clubs, but it's patently wrong.

76 clubs from 52 different European Football Associations participated in the 2013-14 UEFA Champions League competition.
