Arsenal signing Ozil absolutly wipes the floor with any of the Spurs signings they have made, plus Arsenal haven't let there best player go. All of a sudden the tide has turned and they looks a far far stronger team to get that 4th spot.
Arsenal have let their best player go, they just did it 12 months earlier.
They are like spurs and do it all the time. Fabregas, Henry, flamini, van rapist. I thought they would sell carzola a few months back.

Ozil is a magnificent signing, I wish we had got him. He can pick most locks

Signing Ozil is a great achievement for Arsenal, they have a cracking midfield. I still think they should have gone all out and put that money into a deal for Higuain/Benzema/Suarez. Giroud looks to have settled now and is scoring freely. But with Podolski out, if he gets injured they are still weak up top. Whilst Ozil would get into every prem team they do have options already in midfield. If they can add a striker then the battle for the top 4 gets even tighter and even better! Especially as the rags look like adding a bit of steel and guile to their midfield at last.

Talk of Hulk on a season long loan for 10mil for you chaps.

If that comes off it would be an expensive signing (£10m, for one seasons loan, and then you give him back!) but it would solve their lack of striking options in an instance. Still need a left back in my opinion.

I don't understand the hype with Hulk. He's never impressed me when I've seen him.
He would suit Spurs though. Now Bale has left, they need a player who falls over at the merest suggestion of contact.

"Hulk would be keen to work with Andre Villas-Boas again, but the tricky part in any deal has always been the Brazilian's wages.

"He is reported to earn £8.5m per season gross, which works around £7.4m take home with Russia's low level of top-rate tax. Spurs would need to pay Hulk £13.5m just to match that.

On top of a 10 million loan fee? I doubt Levy is quite that insane.

This was his opening gambit with RM for Bale....
