Extremely lucky to have this guy as our goal keeper, One of the world's Top 3.
Just hope PSG or Monaco don't offer £30, £40 million in the summer and we can hold onto him.

We were saying the same about Hart not so long ago.

Not happy with that one bit. Fuck knows how we're on 19 points. AVB is right about the home atmosphere, it's fucking rubbish and that one major reason why we astoundingly play far better away from home.

Still, this has got to start picking up steam and quickly, we won't continue picking up points if we play like that.
yo
You should be darn happy to be on 19 points although i am not sure how. You scrapped a lot of 1-0 which is always a decent sign. But you badly miss a world class striker and are missing the spark that bale gave you last year. You have a very good midfield but its too stastic at home.

Your going to have to improve to get into the top four but you should be delighted where you are considering how average some of your peformances have been. Only two games where you played well were cardiff away and norwich home.

Did you buy United's penalty luck in the summer?

After going the last two seasons without being awarded a home penalty, I'll gladly take what we were rightly given yesterday.

Did the ball hit the defender's raised hand?

Yes.

Did it happen in the penalty area?

Yes....

You get more credit for just admitting it was bullshit and you were extremely lucky THFC. Spurs didn't get any penalties last season which cost you points, so you could at least point to that. When Eto'o whipped the ball from Norwich's keeper I just admitted it was bullshit and shouldn't have stood, you'd probably find a way to defend it if it were Soldado.

I thought it was never a penalty but these things sometimes go for you and sometimes they don,t. I think You done well to get to 19 points but are going to have to improve as the season goes on.

Tottenham have won 6 of their 9 league games, yet only scored 9 goals. 4 of those wins have been 1-0, and 3 of those have been due to a penalty kick. Whilst 19 points from 9 games is a very good return it doesn't take a genius to realise that averaging 1 goal per game, and only scoring 6 goals from "open play" in that time, isn't going to be enough to maintain that level of points return. Defensively Spurs look pretty sound, just the 5 conceded, but in a team with the midfield creativity Spurs have purchased there should be a lot more goals being scored.

They've got the opposite problem to what I expected, and I'm sure most others as well. I thought they'd be free scoring with a soft underbelly. Seems they're really missing Bale even with the huge investment made to replace his contribution.

I'd agree with much of that.

Spurs are getting very good results without imposing themselves on the opposition in a way we would like to.

I think much of this is still down to integrating the seven new summer signings into the team, so hopefully it's simply a matter of time before things start to gel properly.
