What??!! Was that a pre-emptive strike, à la Israel? Couldn't you just have let him post and then allow us to prove by means of pie throwing charts that Spurs DO have nuclear weapons (but just choose not to use them)?Matty said:As has been mentioned a few times in this thread since yesterday's match, THFC6061 is banned so won't be coming on to post anything!nijinsky's fetlocks said:Ducado said:I must say the Spurs fans on here are mostly good, not half as annoying as some of the Arsenal fans
...yet the most annoying fan of any other club on this entire website is a Spurs fan who has called our owner a despot and a tyrant, as well as wumming left, right and centre.
I doubt he would be tolerated anywhere else.
I know I wouldn't either, but that isn't really the point.
I'm sure he will be back soon to regale us with some lurid technicolour monstrosity that hurts the eyes showing us just how we managed to lose yesterday.
Bergkamp, Henry, Suarez all took a little time to settle, and there are many many more examplesCity Raider said:spurs fans learning like we did that having money is only part of being successful
its how you spend it and how those players cope with pressure because expectation levels rocket after blitzing over 100 mil
they were under the radar because league position was ok despite lack of goals but yesterdays shelling has exposed their weaknesses for all to see

Soldado and Paulinho etc are quality players. They need time to settle and the manager has to get them to play as a team.
We might have thrashed them, but we are only 2 points ahead of them and have to go to WHL.

When you consider that AVB most likely asked for certain players, but was bought the wrong type you can see why he is struggling. He is also trying to change the style of play. I think they are a bit harsh on the defence, because that has actually been working well for Tottenham especially when you consider the personnel. The City game was a horrow show though.

How on earth would you know what type of players AVB asked for?
stony said:I'm looking forward to his contribution.Crouchinho said:To be fair I think most of us Spurs fans post after a defeat, just not as quickly as some would like lol. I don't know if THFC is banned but I'm sure he will post once he cans.
Same here, even after the FA cup win and League title, I've still more used to us losing.Crouchinho said:It was pretty much normal to get heavy defeats for Spurs 20 years ago, so losing big doesn't bother me as much as some other fans. It's weird with football as you can forget about a crap result after a week or so once you win.
He was your best player, but he was lucky to stay on the pitch.Crouchinho said:I thought Sandro played really well considering, if it wasn't for him it may well have been 8 or 9 goals.
The praise AVB got last year wasn't justified and more than a little premature. The signs were there last season, but Bale kept on bailing you out. Without him you would have finished mid table.Crouchinho said:AVB is losing the plot completely. When he finally does decide to put two strikers on he takes off a midfielder which most of them didn't even bother turning up so that would just feck us up even more.
Crouchinho said:That's the best I've seen Navas play so far, he looked good and Nasri always seems to play well against us but I don't think he does it consistently enough. Yaya was fantastic second half too, mind you so was the whole team.
Oh well easy game next week, it's only United!
Easliy Navas's best game so far. Yaya was ok in the second half but he was terrible in the first.
Good luck against the rags. Going on your home form and todays performance, I predict a 0-0 or a sneaky 0-1 for the rags.
Crouchinho said:There seems a lot of talk about Soldado but if anyone watches Spurs he gets very very little to work with, the tunnel cam showed Garcia, Navas and Negredo giving him hugs and cheering him up, almost looked like he wanted to cry. AVB has to do a 4-4-2 or even a 3-5-2 to have Adebayor with him, it's just not working. I'm pretty sure if Soldado was in that City team he would have scored against us
I wouldn't swap Alf for anyone in the PL (Suarez, Van Persie, Lukaku, anyone). The reason being his partnership with Kun is thriving at the moment and can only get better.stony said:Crouchinho said:There seems a lot of talk about Soldado but if anyone watches Spurs he gets very very little to work with, the tunnel cam showed Garcia, Navas and Negredo giving him hugs and cheering him up, almost looked like he wanted to cry. I saw that, the mirror did a piss take and played the Lilly Allen song(one for the John Lewis ad) over it.
You don't suddenly become shit overnight, unless your Fernando Torres and I've no doubt that Soldado would have scored if he'd have been in blue, but I wouldn't swap him for Negredo. The Beast has been a revelation. So much more to his game than physicality, and the understanding he has with Sergio is almost telepathic. Him and Fernandinho have been top quality additions to the squad. Speaking of Dinho, he is largely being ignored by the media, but he's been utter class and he's getting better every game. Have a look at the clip of his contribution against spurs in his thread. Awesome player and very underrated. How he doesn't get picked for his country is a mystery.
you some sort of Lamela lover?Markt85 said:THFC6061 said:
