Give him a year or so though and he will want to move. Fourth choice players tend not to hang around for long - unless they are overpaid and have no pride (Yes, Wayne, I am talking about you) - so to have one available and willing to work hard and step-in when required is a bonus. I'd have to disagree with the poster (can't remember who it was) who said that Livermore was a technically good player.

We actually had a 6th choice centre-half who was top class. He was so good, we even cheered one of his thrown-wins. The name was Glauber Berti. Look him up.

Hopefully this hypocritical tax cheat is behind bars in January, all the outrage over Modric being "tapped up" and he is the worst for it. He said they were interested in Tevez then days later said they couldn't afford his wages, SO WHY MENTION HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE?

Totally agreed that Harry ought to shut the fuck up about other team's players when asked about them. He's not even interested in most of them anyway. He just can't stop himself from blabbing about anything and everything, it seems. I suppose that it's the down side of him being one of the few people in football who doesn't just churn out the same tedious platitudes and clichés.

But the part of your post highlighted in bold.....you must have imagined it, fella. Harry said all sorts of things about the Modric saga last summer. But complaining about Chelsea (or Modric, for that matter) wasn't one of them.

Fuck me, that's twice in two days I've read a post of yours Jim that talk sense, is fair, level headed and accurate, turn it in bud, you're giving Spurs fans a good name ;-).

Levy certainly has form for moaning. Had a right, old whinge about Man Utd and Liverpool the summer we sold Berbatov and Keane. But, since Harry's been at the club, I think Levy realises that complaining about other clubs talking about Spurs players would just be too hypocritical. So all he said on the subject of Modric last summer was that none of Spurs' best players were for sale.

There was a lot of complaining about Chelsea's behaviour. But it all came from Spurs fans.

The thing that really pissed me off this time about 'Arry and Demba Ba was there was no reason whatsoever for him to mention Ba had a buyout clause and that it was cheap as chips.

If directly questioned about any buy-out clause all he had to do was say "I'm not sure if he has", but to bring it up/confirm it and then confirm to everyone it was a low buyout is extremely poor judgement and bordering on deliberately attempting to sabotage Newcastle.

Has Pardew screwed 'Arry's wife or something? If I was Pardew I'd punch him in the face next time I saw him.

It was an interview on 'talksport' Jim, but that sounds about right what you say, wouldn't say he was wrong in what he said personally, but a 'moan' nonetheless, oh and stay away from Cornwall, as that's where the Spurs supporters I gain my opinion from seem to holiday :-).

I'm gonna start sounding like a Spurs fan soon. Don't really mind them, and I actually enjoy watching them - added to that is the fact that I don't really mind 'Arry. As long as we beat them, then I have no problems - wouldn't even mind them finishing behind us if we win it. That'd be great for the game, Man City as Champions and Spurs as runners up. That would fuck up the Sky 4 wouldn't it.

I don't know how footy fans have become so soft. If you listen to Harry he says it about 200 players a year. You give him a question he'll answer it.

Fergie picking up Berbatov in his Bentley and Chelsea meeting with Cole in a hotel restaraunt is about as 100% tapping up as you get.

Chelsea didn't tap Modric up as they put in a public bid. This is a mans game but it surprises me how many sissy fans there are out there getting offended by interviews.

There should be a super injunction gag order against this twat. Every transfer window and most weeks in between, he blatantly taps up players (indirectly or otherwise)... 'triffic Player! Today it's Remy and Ba. What a gobshite he is!!! Put your money where your mouth is Rednapp! Oh, sorry, that's right, you can't compete in the transfer market. So shut the fuck up then!
