I don't get the general feeling from Spurs fans with Livermore, any hope of having a better fourth choice dm is delusional imo.

Agreed.

Give him a year or so though and he will want to move. Fourth choice players tend not to hang around for long - unless they are overpaid and have no pride (Yes, Wayne, I am talking about you) - so to have one available and willing to work hard and step-in when required is a bonus. I'd have to disagree with the poster (can't remember who it was) who said that Livermore was a technically good player.

We actually had a 6th choice centre-half who was top class. He was so good, we even cheered one of his thrown-wins. The name was Glauber Berti. Look him up.

Haven't been able to find much about Berti, bit of a cult hero but wiki doesn't go in to much detail of why...

Just once I'd like Spurs to do the scum over - or at least look like they are trying to (maybe a bit harsh).

If you played against them like you do against us usually you'd batter them.

I can't wait for the United game, the last monkey off the back for Harry, although it usually conspires that injuries/reffing travesties and a poor mentality from the players means it all falls apart.

Berti is a cult hero because nobody had heard of him when hughes signed him on a free, and he was on the bench for so many games without getting a game that by the end of the season everyone had taken to him and wanted him to get a game, so he became this mystical cult hero as people do to fans.

Eventually in the last 20 minutes of the last home game of that season he came on as a sub at left back and the place went nuts, he went down in history despite never playing for us again, it was just one of those typical City moments that we're known for.

On the subject of Spurs I'll pay you a compliment and say I hope you lost tonight.

Re: Harry Rednapp (wish there was a) Gag Order

The media should ask him when Modric is being sold.

There is a serious Spurs wank fest on Talk Shite tonight. Which is nothing new, of course.

If there no matchday thread for the Spurs game? I'll post my ramblings here for the time being as GG is still down...

Big opportunity tonight.

My word.

Great performance all round. Jake Livermore did superb, looked so mature. Benny is a cool motherfucker and did terrific as well, what a goal. Props to Dawson slotting in so well also, he won everything.

One clear penalty denied either way, Modric for us and Drenthe for them so I don't think Everton can claim victim. Thought they'd be more up for it than they were, not much pressure on the ball when we were in possession.

The table is looking pretty good at the moment.

Im actually glad that Spurs are up there.

If City dont win, i would love Spurs and their fans to win the league.

The last thing i want is another United-Championship.

Well well!

Things are starting to get VERY interesting indeed!

Amazingly enough, Spurs now have more points than when we finished the 1997-98 season with (44) and the same number of points we finished 1993-94 and 2003-04 with (45).

We're 9 points ahead of where we were after 20 matches last season.

We're 8 points ahead of season 2009-10 when we finished in fourth place.

And we're 15 points ahead of the identical fixtures from last season.

I have said it at the beginning of the season that Spurs with Adebayor will compete for the title, and some posters here were laughing at my opinion. So next time when I speak, people should listen carefully.

Take it Everscum didn´t park the bus then as they did at our place

Absolute coonts - team and manager

Ade is a whinging coont and I don´t want that fooker near our gaff
